i just had the most compulsive need to be on a swing. and not like…. any swing. like a swing that’s not too far from a stream, close enough that you can hear the trickling of the water. and the sun is kissing your skin in the most relaxing way; because it’s not hot, but you feel warm. hear the soft whoosh of the wind in your ears as you lean back when you swing forward, and all you can see is blue sky and sunshine. that butterflies feeling in your stomach reaches new heights when you soar higher than you have before. you breathe in right as you start flying forward and the breath leaves your lungs and your eyes glow bright and it’s calm and kind and beautiful.
