Hello friends,
I recently lost my job of several years, which has been absolutely devastating for me. I don't have any friends in my area, and the one family member I have has refused to help me at all. I was already living paycheque to paycheque even with my job. So, suffice it to say, I don't have a safety net to fall back on.
I have been able to secure a new, lower paying job, but I'm still going through the background check process and haven't even started working there. I'm also putting in the effort to get a second job on top of that. DoorDash has been unhelpful since I have to schedule a two hour window every day to make chump change, and I've been denied for unemployment already. This is all to say that I am trying my hardest to get back on my feet.
Unfortunately, rent is due at the beginning of December, and the place I live has an extremely strict eviction policy. If I can't pay by the 5th, I have to be moved out in two weeks. I have nowhere to go, and I've all but given up hope.
Coming here is my last resort. I hate to have to beg strangers online for help, but if anyone is willing to donate my girlfriend has a ko-fi page up to receive donations.
