Hey Cas-what's that trench coat place you like?
Hey there. Heard my presence was missed. Sorry, ladies, but apparently recovering form sickness leaves short-term memory issues and delusions, and then there was a violent barber ghost out on Fleet Street.
Anyway, I'm back.
[[OOC:
Hello everyone! Yes, it's true: I haven't been violently murdered and left in pieces in a ditch.
I wanted to apologize for how absent I've been of late. As "Sam" might have told you, I'm involved with a number of clubs and sports and (of course) also go to school and have been pretty busy and overwhelmed. All the same, as I made a commitment and enjoy this group so much, that isn't really an excuse.
I do love RPing with you all. As some of you might know, this is my first RP experience and I love it. I'm hoping to catch up on some work over vacation/get a head start on some other school stuff and hopefully have a better second half of the year than first.
As it is, do let me know if I have anything urgent to reply to, and I'll do my best to catch up.
I'm so sorry. It is irresponsible of me to be so absent so often. I hope you're all having some very merry holidays!
-"Dean", Emma
Also, "Cas," I saw your post about your concern and well-wishes and I'm touched. Again, sorry for being so unresponsive. Especially now that Destiel is a thing!
[[signing off for the night for some earl gray, a little fluffy writing, and then sleep. See you all soon. No one die in my absence.]]

You too, bud...dy. You're... not goin' to Heaven... not yet. Bu' when... when... when you do... there's gonna be a... whole house... just for you... an' your mom. Promise.
Dean, I think, is sick.
-Dean stared down at his phone. He wasn’t sure how long it was before he understood who had posted, and what the words meant. He manages to find speed-dial, the only other number, except for Sam’s, that he had ever bothered to save. His throat hurts too much to speak when the angel finally picks up.-
“Dean, is that you?” Cas was so releived to find that Dean was able, at least, to answer the phone. “Where are you? Do you need assistance?”
“…Cas?” The one syllable was hell on his throat, but he was a warrior. He wasn’t gonna let some shit cold gank him. “Dunno.”
The angel wasn’t pleased that Dean was unable to give his location. “I’ll try at your apartment first.”
"Cas..." Dean's tongue felt thick in his mouth, but the familiar, gravelly voice provided a strength he didn't know he had. "Feel... so... cold. And hot. Hotter than... the Pit. And colder than... Lucifer."
I'll help you both if I can. I can get you into a clinic if you need it. I'll make sure that the doctors know I sent you. -MH

Adam… hold on there, buddy. We’ll get through this. Just take a breather. I’ll send an angel your way ASAP.

bro of honor, hombre.
Dean? I know we haven't spoken in a while, but I wanted to tell you about this thing going around London. If you don't already have, keep you and your friends healthy. It's pretty nasty. But if any of you do get it, I can call in any favors at St. Barts that you need. Just let me know. I'm afraid I can't do more than that at the moment as I'm pretty sick myself. Stay safe.- MH

Dean don't ignore me. I still need to know what size dress you wear.
... I feel like crap, Gabriel. I don't fucking know.
'nd even if the hallucinating's starting, you're not getting me into a dress.
Don't Say Die. || Dean, Sam
-Dean is not sure how long it takes him to puzzle through the words. He was never a great reader, but everything’s hazy and he has to start over five times before he comes to the end of the text, let alone understand it. It takes him another long while before he figures out that texting is too difficult right now. Everything is too difficult right now. God, just swallowing the fire in his throat is impossible. But he can press one button. One is easy. One is speed-dial. Sammy. It rings… rings… rings…-
“Sammy?”
“Dean! Jesus Christ, the whole city’s dying, man. Where the hell are you?” Frankly Sam’s worried out of his mind- has been since hearing that Dean has this unknown virus. He can only hope that his older brother hasn’t gotten to the bleeding from random places stage, seeing as most people that could revive him don’t care or are sick themselves. Dean sounds like shit already though, and that just makes him more worried.
“You should have stayed with Cas. How bad are you?”
"Dunno where Cas is," Dean mumbles. Cas certainly isn't with him, that's for sure. Dean' feels like he downed enough vodka to set his entire body on fire, but the air around him is freezing cold. He shivers, gradually realize the odd clacking sound is his teeth.
"Pre'y bad, think. Really hot, Sammy... Really, really... hot. Throat hurts."
He vomits.
Dean, I think, is sick.
If you see this, Dean, would you like me to look after you?
-Dean stared down at his phone. He wasn't sure how long it was before he understood who had posted, and what the words meant. Dean? Please- Please talk to me, man. Don't be- don't be dead. -Sam

"Sammy?"
Pie and Coffee
Friendship, love, and happiness were all concepts he’d grown to understand on his time on Earth with Dean. But, this new emotion was more subtle, different. He didn’t like it. “Do you mean we should not be in love anymore?” Cas’ hands went slack and the sizzle of his grace began to dim as doubt flooded into him.
“Don’t take it back…”
“Even if that is what I meant, human emotions don’t work like that, Cas. I wouldn’t take any of this back.”
Dean wasn’t even entirely sure what he had meant. So, he was frightened. That was new. And angels had another reason to come smite him. Again, such a refreshing change of pace. But had he really ever listened to common sense and let either factor stop his train?
Answering for him, Dean’s grip tightened on Cas’ loose hands.
“No.” He replied fiercely. “I’m not taking anything back. I wouldn’t take this back for the world. You make me happy, Cas. Can’t even remember the last thing that did. So I’m not losing you to your dickbag brothers. But,” his voice deepened. “I’m not gonna let them hurt you, either. So if they pin you down and make you choose, you better choose what’s best for you, all right? I don’t matter in the long run.”
“You’re not?” Cas couldn’t help the small smile coming to his face. “Thank you, Dean.”
He leaned into the hunter once more, and thought of what his brothers might say when they found out that he was feeling human emotions for one of their least-favorite people on earth. Gabriel, at least, was supportive and that was a blessing. “Are we going to have sex now? Gabriel told me to expect that… something about tops and bottoms.”
Dean looked down into Cas' wide eyes, probably completely unaware as to what he'd just signed up for. Of course Gabriel had, Dean thought. He'd made a porno just to communicate a postmortem message.
"Whoa there, tiger." Dean murmured, though admittedly, he felt flushed with Cas pressed so close to him, looking up at him with those clueless, innocent eyes as he asked this. He was not unaware of how inexperienced Cas was. Or how much he wanted to pull-
No, not the time.
"Cas, I'm not saying no. I'm just saying that you and Gabriel are very different. I mean you just got to first base for the first time. So-I can't believe I'm saying this-but I think we should wait a little bit. And top and bottom... I can't believe I'm explaining this to an angel of the fucking Lord. I just think we should wait a little bit. But I wouldn't protest to kissing you more."
