Recently, I have this habit of looking through my old folders for pictures to post in IG with the #xyearsago hashtag (similar to how the timehop app works). And it got me thinking, ever since multiply deleted all my photo albums, I have way too much unshared pictures to date. Not that it matters though, pero feeling ko lang sayang if I don't post them. Haha! So I'ma start this #xyearsago posts here in this Tumblr account. Kung baga parang trip down memory lane. Well, for me at least. Har. Let's see if I have photos for every day of the year, although I doubt that.

My fifth roll. Still, kapaan blues pa rin. Hahaha! But I'm getting the hang of it, I think. I have learned na may difference pala talaga ang ISO 100 and 800 films. Har. I'm planning to burn 5 more rolls this year. So, wish me luck!

I meant it when I said I didn't believe in love at first sight. It takes time to really, trully fall for someone. Yet I believe in a moment. A moment when you glimpse the truth within someone, and they glimpse the truth within you. In that moment, you don't belong to yourself any longer, not completely. John Legend | All of Me Tour | Live in Manila

I don't wanna brag, but I'll be, the BEST YOU EVER HAD.

When the news came out that John Legend will be here in Manila, I had a mini-heart attack. For realz. I had just recently realized (yep, medyo too late no, haha) how bummed I was for not being able to watch him 5 years ago, tapos ilalabas nila ung news na pupunta sya dito?! HAHAHAHAHA!

But despite my eagerness to watch the concert, my upperbox ticket was a last minute purchase. Like less than 12 hours prior to the concert. I was just soooo happy that the stars aligned for me. Super worth it. Every minute of it. And you can say I'm still on a high as we speak.

He sang songs from the old albums, which I really liked. Although there were a few songs that I didn't even know existed. Hahaha! I liked the part where he told stories about him starting out, his family, his inspirations among other things. Medyo may kinaiinisan lang akong group of teenagers, I had this urge to make-tulak them in the balcony. HAHAHA! I think the only song they know was All of Me. One freakin song.

I took a few videos but uploaded only a few. Forget the video quality. It's the audio that matters. Para pwede ko syang pakinggan paulit-ulit. :)

But my favorite part was him singing Bridge Over Troubled Water. Oh. My. Gawd.

Of course for the finale encore, he had to perform All of Me. 

Haaaaaaaay. If he decides to have another concert here in Manila again, kahit after 5 years ulet, will still watch him. Pero ambitionin ko na ung Patron seats. Hahaha!
