For those who don’t know what the caption means - In India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and other Southeast Asian countries, there’s this brand called “Fair and Lovely” that makes creams and soaps that make your skin get lighter over time. All of its ads insinuate that people with lighter skin are prettier and are the ones who can get men to like them and superficial things like that.
