Okay, so I may have found something juicy?

So I am currently learning japanese + fangirling over Johnny’s groups and I got curious to see what would come up if I were to search one of my ichibans (sato shori) with girlfriend in katakana… to my surprise, there was a blog that did a small cover on the topic of him and his supposed “girlfriend” Ayaka Miyoshi…

I understand Japanese, and happened to read this article once. So may I clarify it a little bit? ^^

Miyoshi Ayaka was Shori’s classmate in Horikoshi High School. Yes, because she is an idol, born in 1996, and there’s only one class for idols at Horikoshi anyway ^^ (It’s called Trait course in Japanese)

There were rumors that they exchanged (mail) address, went karaoke together with friends, or took puripuka. But there were no evidence at all.

That photo was token when Shori and Johnny West4’s members went to Universal Studio in Japan. The girl sitting beside Shori was thought to be Miyoshi Ayaka, because of alikeness. But she turned out to be a different person. Miyoshi also tweeted that she was at filming location at that time.

So it seemed that Shori only went to USJ with 2 or 3 male friends (sitting by his left), not the girl ^^ There is also no evidence of Shori and Miyoshi taking purikura together. Therefore, Shori has no rumored girlfriend in the past and even up until now ^^ yay

Sou is now taller than Shori?

Saw this on gg but couldn’t believe ;___; This pic is from 2014 though.

In a Qrzone episode in 2015 (MariSou), a fan asked how tall Sou was, and he answered he’s 168cm. I always think that Shori is taller, but definitely Shori doesn’t seem to reach 170cm yet. Which means, Sou is taller?

Btw, I have a habit of using Kento as a base to measure Shori’s height. And Shori is still about half a head shorter than Kento. When Kento stated that his ideal height for girlfriend is 161cm, I think of Shori right away lol just ignore this I dont ship them that way

Shori and ‘Last winter’s night’

SZ is promoting ‘Welcome to Sexy Zone’ album, so they talk about the album a lot in magazines. This is not a full translation I just write from my memories about what I have read from the magazines.

- Shori wrote the lyric for ‘Last winter’s night’ by himself.

- Shori often said that this is a love song with a lot of meaning Shori wanted to deliver to their fans. He wants everyone to smile. (it’s so sad though?)

It’s quite clear that he wrote about the time when MariSou left the group, which made a lot of fan feel sad. And he was sorry about that.

- In the magazines, mostly it’s Sou and Mari who commented/complimented on this song (besides Shori), like how beautiful the lyric is, like how they love it.

-  Shori said: I myself really like the first sentence of the chorus “Mafuyu no yuki moyou” (Snow pattern in midwinter). (He’s speaking to Sou who was besides him in the interview) Do you know why it’s “Mafuyu no yuki moyou”? I wanted to include Matsushima and Marius’s names in the song, but I couldn’t. That’s why I used the syllable “Ma”. (fuyu means winter. mafuyu means mid-winter. )
