So we recently lost a family pet (black and white dog named Maggie) due to complications during surgery. It was a big shock for us all and it left a huge hole in our hearts because she was only 6 years old and still had a lot of life left to live. Little did we know that the little cream cutie was being born on the same day only 15 minutes after we lost Maggie. We were really hesitant about getting another dog so soon after loosing Maggie but we had a lot of love to give and another dog who was mourning with us and was becoming depressed and was refusing to eat. Only 2 weeks after getting Angel (now named Tortie) I believe we made the right decision in getting her.
