Relationships
Ok so on my Facebook I'm seeing way too much of people posting about their relationship problems. Do not post your problems on Facebook for everyone, you need to keep it to you and your significant other. Posting about it an degrading that person is not helping your relationship plus it is childish ... you expect things to change but you don't try to change your actions. Not everyone wants to hear every detail of your problems on social media. GROW UP
Hate
Ladies! Never allow a man to bring you low enough to hate him. Hating him, let's him win. You are much better then that. You have to forgive and forget because it's healthy for your soul. I remember I used to hang on to things and hate the men that have hurt me. Once I learned to let it go, my life has changed and I became much happier. It's toxic to allow yourself to hate a man. No matter what he did, we women are warriors and we can carry on strong đȘđŒ
"If it doesn't matter 5 year from now, don't spend 5 minutes of your time upset over it!"
Oh boy the truth of this !!
Rainy days
Sometimes I find myself in an overwhelming kind of mood when it rains. Sometimes I find myself depressed. The rain makes me think about the hard stuff in my life. For whatever reason, I become overwhelmed when it rains. Tonight I've been thinking about my father. I lost him 4 years ago, and for me it has been such a difficult loss. I find myself bringing in 2017 with my family at dinner, but then the emotions hit. This will be another passing year that he won't be around. He won't be around to walk me down the aisle when I get married. My father won't be here over the next 20 years of my life. It makes me sad but I try my best to remember the things he taught me. He taught me how to hit my first softball, he even coached my Tball team. He taught me how to dust myself off when I fell. He was the first man I ever loved, he taught me that love should be kind. Never angry or mad. He showed me how I should be treated by a man. The loss of a loved one who was your best friend, cannot be put into words. I miss him everyday. He was such a king soul and loved with everything he had. I remember I would watch him work at job sites and be so fascinated by the things he knew so well. He did the best he could to provide for my sister and I. It's been 4 years and it still feels like I lost him yesterday. This pain never goes away, I have learned how to live with it. I keep him dear to my heart and try to think of the good times. My father would not want me to mourn, but to smile and laugh in his memory.
Wise advice
A wise man once told me " if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing." For years this was hard for me to practice because I always felt I had to be right and had to have the last word regardless. I finally thought about what that quote means, and noticed that not everything needs a reaction or a response. Sometimes you can say a lot by not saying anything at all. Saying nothing at all, can be so powerful. It leaves people guessing, did I push a button? Did I upset them? Are they mad? Did they get my message? .... nobody but you knows the reality of how you feel given that circumstance!
Change
I hear a lot of negativity from people about "I don't like the way he treats me", "I am not happy", "I wish things were different". The thing is that we have all the power. If you don't like your job, quit and find a new one. You don't like the way your friends treat you, then find new ones. You don't have to stay where you are at. We get comfortable with these things in our lives and we decide to settle. Well we can't settle anymore. Because at the end of the day if you are miserable then YOU are to blame. Not anybody else. Nobody else is going to change these things for you. If you want it bad enough then do something about it. Life it too short to cry over spilled milk. As humans we are scared of change and the "unknown" but that is ok. But do not stay in fear for too long. You have to take your life by the horns and do what you want. Don't let anyone define who you are except YOURSELF!!! Change is good!!
Itâs crazy. Youâre raised to believe that when you meet âthe oneâ youâre supposed to feel nervous, uncomfortable, anxious. But I met you, and everything felt right. I wasnât scared because for whatever reason I knew I could trust you. I knew I could be myself with you. Since day one. I knew I could laugh like a fucking seal, that I could sing like no one was listening even though you were right next to me. I could say the weirdest shit with my delirious 3 am thoughts and you would giggle and agree. Or youâd make fun of me. But even then when youâre laughing at me I donât feel vulnerable, because you do dumb shit too and I love it. I love that we can just be us. Thatâs how it should feel. Thatâs how it should always feel.

Family
We all have those relatives that we don't keep in touch with as much as we should. It's okay, we're human. We all have siblings that get a long some days and other days we don't. It's okay. As the holidays approach it makes me think of family. Family can be judgmental because they only want what is best for you. But no matter what is going on in your life, take the time to talk to your family and wish them happy holidays. You never know what your family could be going through in their life, or maybe you do. Reach out and show some love to them. Nobody's family is perfect, but in the end we need to keep family close because it is all we have left at the end of the day.
Nothing better then waking up to this view on the coast! It cleanses your soul!
Work on you, for you.
