The only behavior I wish women would copy from men is caring less about people's feelings. I am not talking about family or friends, but literally strangers screaming demands at us. One of the reasons why women's issues are so much more policed than men's is because we are so easy to guilt-trip. We care so much about being liked and seeing as good women that we are letting people step on us. It's time to have more pride and less forced empathy.
Things cats were right about all along:
Fuck staying hydrated by drinking enough water - eat! more! wet! food! (watermelon, cucumbers, SOUP!)
Feels great to be really high up in your house where you can see the whole place (loft bed loft bed loft bed loft bed!)
Express yourself as clearly as possible when people are touching you and you don't want them to.
Optional, but you can also express yourself clearly when your people are not touching you and you want them to.
Sometimes it's important to just go "hmm. actually, I don't care" and wander off.
You don't have to be the strongest or toughest to defend yourself, it's enough to just be difficult enough to not be worth the trouble.
Ghosts will eventually leave if you stare at them for long enough.
8. Staring outside the window is peaceful and meditative
Woman on AITA: after we got married my (30f) husband (38m) stopped changing his underwear and poops the bed every time we have sex and also has fleas which he refuses to treat and when I bring up the fleas are biting me and our two children he yells at me and breaks his PlayStation controllers. AITA for not finding him attractive anymore
Reddit: mens health is never discussed he probably has undiagnosed depression you should get him flowers and pay for a therapist and start breast feeding him. Also DM me with a pic of your boobs if you wanna meet up
Redditor 1: idk about that other stuff but have you guys tried having sex in the shower so his poop goes down the drain. Maybe you could get some medicated flea shampoo and give him a bath at the same time so it feels fun and sexy, or maybe a tablet wrapped in a piece of cheese?
OP: We tried already but the poop didn't go down the drain (-4 karma)
it’s a great time to be a hater, many things are bad and lots of stuff sucks. it’s also a terrible time to be a hater, because many people will insist that you have to like the bad thing because a company spent millions of dollars making it and it’s just not very nice to say it’s bad
hating is ultimately a philosophy of optimism. the knowledge that things could be better, and the desire to see them improve, differentiates it from the pessimism of idle consumption.
people thinking that disasters caused by climate change will change people's opinions on it even if they were affected by it never met evangelists who think every terrible thing happening in the world is a sign from god saying that judgement's day is getting closer so their faith needs to get "stronger"
I am become boop, the destroyer of worlds.
has this been done before
I just wish the stupid Americans with their idiot election didn’t have the potential to literally catastrophically impact the rest of the world
If the NFT craze had happened *after* generative AI discourse became a thing instead of before, 75% of the artists on this website would be promoting NFTs as a new innovative tool for artists to protect their Intellectual Property from AI theft and calling anyone who voiced any reasonable criticism of NFTs as a concept an art-thieving AI techbro.
I know I just restating the point of that post but respecting religious freedom will sometimes require you to respect someone's belief that religious beliefs are categorically untrue, and there are a lot of people who are unable to handle this, and even more people who think they agree with this but haven't really grappled with what it means.
Something that a lot of religious folks don't seem to realize the extent to which non-religious people, more than any other religious minority, are expected to walk on eggshells around other people's beliefs at the expense of their own for the sake of social decorum, in a way which no one else is expected to do with theirs.
To name a bit of an example I have personal experience with. When I was mourning my cousin a couple years ago, I was constantly faced with the situation of people trying to comfort me from a religious perspective.
And whenever this topic comes up, the conversation is always about how "you have to be mindful of their intentions, they're trying to reach out to you and comfort you in the way they know, they're being nice, you have to appreciate the effort they're making, you have to meet them where they're at and appreciate their attempt to help you". Which is what I did, of course. In this situation, replying to their attempt to comfort you with any reminder that you don't believe in this stuff is considered a big social faux-pas that will make you look like an asshole. And to an extent I agree, it can be rude and needlessly combative.
But somethin I feel it's conspicuously absent from any conversation surrounding this type of situation like. Any interrogation of *why* is going "sorry, I don't believe in any of this, this means nothing to me" considered a bigger social faux-pas than trying to comfort a grieving person with religious beliefs you know they don't hold.
Why, even when you're literally grieving, the onus is on you as a non-religious person to be mindful of other's worldviews and tread lightly and meet them where they're at and not contradict what they believe in and never the other way around.
so, what do you think of the latest life is strange: double exposure? For me, im conflicted. Im obviously happy to have a new game featuring max. Buuut it’s an obvious cash grab and am disappointed with the story development so far. :/
thoughts?
I haven't played it and TBH will probably not buy it until it's cheap on a Steam sale or something. I lost interest in the series after Before the Storm because the story wasn't that good, felt incomplete and rushed, and it lacked the mechanical creativity that the original LiS had with the time rewind puzzles, being just a mediocre visual novel. There are several other games I'm more interested in playing than LiS, and this latest iteration does not seem very interesting.
We need the obnoxious atheists back. I know they engineered their own destruction by being annoying and pretentious, but it has become apparent how essential to the ecosystem they were. The religious fanatics have become too bold without their natural predators. Jesus wojaks would have been torn to shreds in 2011.

I can't get over how idiotic musk's plan was for this whole Brazil situation. Like it literally went like this.
Brazil: Your rampant unfiltered hate speech and misinformation on your platform is in violation of the law, you need to do something about it.
musk: I'll just close all our offices in Brazil, now that there's no staff in the country you can't charge us.
Brazil: You need to have a representative operating in the country otherwise you can't do business here. Consult with us in 24 hours or your site will be blocked.
musk: ha look here's an ai generated image of toilet paper with the name of your supreme court judge on it (he actually did this)
Twitter is blocked in Brazil after musk failed to consult with them and appoint a representative.
And Brazilian musk fanboys are currently screaming and crying about how "we have literally become North Korea".
