The amount of proshippers that are not out and about with a side blog for their questionable ships is astronomically low. We need to fix this. This needs to be a bigger community on Tumblr. People who have self ships that you don't share, make a side blog.

Don’ts of Being a Caregiver
🦄 Don’t make your little feel bad for being little. It’s who they are. If you don’t want to be with someone who is childish, needy, and sensitive that’s totally fine, but you’ve chosen the wrong person.
🍼 Don’t make your little feel insecure for wanting to try new things. If they wanna try out a paci or a bottle encourage them because they might feel weird about it. The most taboo thing in this category is diapers, but don’t judge them for wanting to try wearing diapers or pull-ups. If you don’t want to be involved in it that’s okay because your comfort matters too, but there’s nothing wrong with your little trying them out, and you shouldn’t make them feel as if there is.
💐 Don’t abandon your little. If you’re going to be busy let them know. If you can’t see your little often try to communicate as much as possible. If you’re long distance try to have a date to look forward to, and some fun plans for when that date comes.
🌈 Don’t build their hopes up if you aren’t going to follow through. If you get your littles hopes up for something then do it. If you make plans to do something special then do it. Of course sometimes there are unforseeable issues that pop up and if that’s the case try to reschedule, but try to always follow through. Your little will have gotten more excited about it than you realize and they may not say it but they’re very disappointed when it doesn’t happen. Your little may also feel as though you don’t care or that you never meant it to begin with.
💗 Don’t underestimate the power of words. Littles love to hear sweet things from their caregiver. Compliment them, tell them how you feel, and praise the crap out of them. Having a caregiver gush over you is the most amazing feeling. It takes very little time or effort to send a sweet text, so do it. Heck, do it right now.
⭐️ Don’t worry about being perfect all the time. There are a lot of expectations put on caregivers and there are a lot of posts out there telling you all of the things you need to do to be a good caregiver, but just try your best. There are a lot of “How To” posts for caregivers, because unfortunately there are a lot of not so great ones who take on the role for all of the wrong reasons and don’t actually desire to care for someone. If you genuinely enjoy caring for your little and you try to be your best for them then that’s all we ask. No one is perfect, but if you’re nurturing and loving your little one to the best of your abilities then you’re doing great. Gold star for you!
