Revamped style of Bobby Albey’s collection
Ursula, the sea-witch from The Little Mermaid, was inspired by the drag queen Divine[1] (feat. in Pink Flamingos). Her “Condone first degree murder. Advocate Cannibalism. Eat shit!” attitude was woven into a little subtlety and projected into the illustration and choreography of Ursula[2]. Ursula, who wasn’t entirely a villain took a human persona to become the sly and seductive fiancee, Venessa[3], of Prince Eric. This persona is captured in an active-wear collection by Bobby Albey[4], for his collection inspired by The Little Mermaid.
