i’m gonna try and reread the short story tonight, gather all the precious ana lore, and write up my thoughts on it concerning my portrayal. maybe i’ll even work on some icons. btw if anyone has suggestions for an old ana fc ( late 50s, early 60s egyptian ), please do let me know!

to all the jacks i’ve shipped with in the past (i guess that means all of them now): it’s been great. i’m honestly heartbroken right now. i thought of maybe coming back here, giving it one last hurrah in hopes that the same bullshit that happened a year ago doesn’t happen again. maybe. we’ll see. i’m happy that a lot of my headcanons have been confirmed and some new ones realized. i’m also glad that mlm have more representation in a character such as jack morrison ( for the love of god stop saying gabe is straight, bisexuals and pansexuals exist even if both y’all and blizzard aren’t aware of that – and there are other male characters btw ). i want to give special shout outs to @excineris and to @warscourged for being my stalwart supporters and truly outstanding jack writers since day 1 here. you’re creative and adaptive individuals and i’m hoping we can still write in the future. thanks for the memories. now we have a whole new version of their relationship to explore ( because i live for their banter ). finally, a message to the community: i implore you, don’t bully people. i remember what happened with lena and it was a shit show. give people time to adjust. i’ll be on discord, as i always am. ask me for my details and maybe we can write sometime.  happy new year. someone let me know when that sweet skin drops.

        i... don’t like widow’s character design. she’s a sniper, a class of sharpshooters who frequently lie on their stomachs. even with her, standing up, does she need those claw heels? bright purple/pink spandex is unnecessary and why the hell does she need to advertise her sternum? might as well be like “aim here”. you can’t tell a single thing about her from her design. also why does she need to be blue? oh shit the blue alien babe trope.

         don’t ignore people. don’t abandon them. there is a difference between cutting people out of your life and abandoning people. don’t use ‘em and lose ‘em. just fucking don’t, okay? i see way too many people saying they feel replaced or left behind for the new and the exciting and i am among these people. first time offender? i’ll talk to you. second, third, fourth time? bye. personally, i’m tired of hanging on and waiting and hoping that things will change. but after months of actual physical heartache, i’m done. just save me and everyone else the trouble and don’t do it in the first place. life gets in the way, people are forgetful and anti-social, but when it’s a recurring thing and you are made aware of it? that’s when i can’t handle it anymore. that’s when i feel used.

         tbh i’m getting a bit tired of the grandma thing. yes, she is motherly. yes, she will help you out like a mother might if she knows you well enough or deems you worthy of it. but don’t let that be all you see. please remember that she is a decorated soldier, a highly trained killer and (formerly) a secondary leader to a global security organization. not your that nan you have tea with every thursday afternoon.
