hello!! was wondering if you could make jade / vil layouts with a sort of dark periwinkle (idk much about colors so if you find a color that suits them more, feel free to do it ^^) if not, just vil would be amazing, tysm!! 🫶
OML I'M SO SORRY I just realized you meant dark periwinkle and I ended up going with a regular periwinkle (I'm pretty sure) but I still hope you like them ^^^

I'm not very good at explanations so apologies, but I will give screenshots for the effects themselves, how I used them and their effects ^^^
So upfront, I used these effects
And the image starts like this
So with the threshold, to get it how I did and only having the black (as it turns the image black & white exclusively, no gray) I set the blend (if that's the right word) to multiply. The amount doesn't matter really, it just changes how much of the shadows take in that black effect.
Then, with the hue/Saturation I raised the saturation and lowered the brightness to this (below) and the blending is at normal so nothing special there

After that, for the brightness/contrast I decreased both of them which makes the image darker and the colors more similar (like they don't contrast each other as much). The blending for this one is Darken (which actually has no effect now that I look at it since darken only applies the darker colors of an effect or image oops) and the end result is this
And finally, after that I applied the photo filter which filters a certain color over it (at least on photopea, idk about other sites or programs).
The density is like how much color is overlayed on the image and also the shade of the color matters too of course, brighter colors will bring brighter effects while duller ones like this blue will leave the image duller. Preserve luminosity is something I'm not sure how to explain so I'll just show images on it without the luminosity preserved and with it
Without is first then with is second (this is also on normal blending so no special effect)
With the blending for the filter, I chose lighter color and the final product is this

Apologies for the bad explanation, to be honest I'm not exactly sure of how to explain each thing as I don't have a great grasp on its exact effects on the images, only a base idea of its effect so that's really what I use. I would suggest really just messing around with different colors, effects, and blendings so you can see better for yourself how things work and effect one another but I hope this helped a bit ^^^ And lmk if you have any other questions and I'll do my best to answer them dskljsdlkjf
