Submission for posterfortomorrow Design Competition 2013
Book Cover Design, School Project.
One of my Graphic Communication class project required us to give a complete makeover for a book. The original book cover (purple) relied heavily on typography for it's cover. I, on the other hand chose to adopt the use of photography, and crafts (book sculpting) for its cover.

The Be a Hero to the Homeless exhibition features stories of Typhoon Pablo's Victims - Photographs, Feature Stories, Videos, a Webpage and a Donation Card.
I designed the invitation cards that first showed the devastation of typhoon pablo by drawing a house, one that resembled the drawings of a child. This was to show that houses that were once there were swept away, and what is left is nothing but twigs and stones. However when you turned to the back, there's a photograph of a boy (also a victim) who is sitting in front of a house that is undergoing construction. This, when paired with the details of the exhibition, symbolises hope.
