don't look at me when i'm looking at things [kouta]
Nagisa started walking to the next room, not particularly paying any attention to Kouta. The faster she got this investigation over with, the faster she could lock herself in her room, away from all this madness and potential murder.
She barely heard Kouta ask his question, but she was able to answer after catching the tail end of it. “I’ve already looked around the dining room. We’ve obviously both already seen the kitchen. There’s a room over here I haven’t looked at yet, so I was thinking of heading to that one.”
"Sounds good to me," Kouta said, half mumbling after realizing Nagisa wasn't completely listening to him. He made sure not to lose sight of her and followed close behind. He didn't quite catch which room she was referring to exactly, but that didn't matter much to him. The only room he saw so far was the kitchen, and even then he realized he failed to really look around like he originally intended to. He internally scolded himself for being so careless as they walked. He would have to pay more attention to the room this time around.
