Are YOU an alpaca?
“I sure wish I was. Am I?”
November kids unite! | Katsurou | Chapter 1 | ATTN: Tokiko
Sometimes during afternoon, Katsurou had retreated back into his own room. This action wasn’t born out of fear towards his fellow peers or anything - how could it ever when he firmly believed that no one would do something as bad as murder? -, but even a social butterfly like him needed a bit of alone time. He hadn’t really allowed himself to properly process everything yet, so he did it in his own four walls.
Most of the time inside his room was spend on finishing up one fan that he’d started during their stay here. It was one especially designed for the love theme going on here - though unfortunately, this theme apparently changed to death and sadness. He found that to be… quite sad.
(And who would ever start such a twisted game to begin with? Why?)
It was already the early evening hours when Katsurou was finished with his new fan. The dark-haired fan maker inspected it a last time, before setting it down on the table provided to him. It would be rather… ill-timed to carry it around now, huh?
With a sigh, he stood up and took his bag with him, before leaving his private space for the time being. Staying cooped up in one room for too long seemed like such a waste! Better to look around and… maybe search for an escape route. Or simply talk to the others-
Speak of the devil.
Just as Katsurou had opened his door and ventured out, another door was opened as well. It was the one directly opposite to him and a fair maiden emerged from it. He knew her name - Tokiko Taira. A superbiker racer, if he remembered correctly. My, how could he have neglected to talk to her yet? Honestly, he needed to step up his game here!
Despite their gloomy circumstances, Katsurou didn’t see any reason to not smile at the other.
“Good evening, Taira-san~! My, it’s quite a coincidence that we left our rooms at the same time, huh? Is this fate? Whatever it shall be, I’m glad that we can finally talk to each other - if you want to, of course! I would like to get to know you better!”
Just after she'd parted ways with Jiro, she’d gone back to her room to take a shower, proceeding to waste the next hour by playing video games and gazing at her empty TV screen, convincing herself that this was all a ploy to get their bums tricked. Eventually it would be over sooner than they thought and everyone would get sent back to school and start their semester.
Still.. from a dating game to a game of survival, huh.. What was this, a dystopian future where classmates were forced to kill each other? Don’t make her laugh! She enjoyed fun like any other person did but this trope was way too overused.. If only she hadn’t accidentally sent an application and she could have avoided this mess.
Well enough about that! It was time to leave her room and—
Oh. Oh!
When Tokiko practically stumbled out of her room, the last thing she expected was to be greeted by wave of words and a cheerful classmate, right in front of her sight no less! Brown eyes staring at him and his fashionably striking clothes, the biker couldn’t honestly recall who he was; just like everyone else she couldn’t recognize because someone had left the roster unchecked.
(Just imagine how many unread messages there would be if she was a participant of the class’s chat room..)
“Evening, evening, of course I don’t mind if this whatever so proposes us to mingle but— ”
She paused only to gracefully offer him a slender hand to take. Followed by a teasing grin.
" —only if you’re willing to take the lead~.”
chapter 1 – put on your thinking cap... // t.kikuchi (attn: t.taira)
How embarrassing was that… after whatever had gotten into him in front of the other fifteen players earlier left, he was back feeling a bit strange. He would have to thank the princess at some point in the near-distant future. Thinking about her words managed to dissuade the bad feelings but.
“AH! I’m so DUMB!”
He threw his hands on his head and threw his head back!
“My mouth is writing checks my butt can’t cash,” he said, tapping his foot against the ground and crossing his arms across his chest.
He had found himself by the entrance of the castle, scanning the entrance for anything. Some sort of hint of… anything. Anything was better than nothing, after all. He had approached the entrance gate itself, giving it a STRONG push and finding that it, unsurprisingly didn’t move. He caught himself starring up, finding the wall impossibly high.
``I suppose the answers to get out of here aren’t just going to fall into my lap…” He said quietly before strolling over to the center of the courtyard and having a seat.
He leaned back, pressing his hands into the outer rim, again, his focus on the sky. Nothing would fall from the sky despite him looking up so desperately for clues. Even if his lines ended up being hopeful platitudes, he wanted more that nothing else to figure something out.
``I know I’m not alone in this but… argh… c’mon Tarou, think think…”
Somehow she had managed to avoid the store clerk’s sight as she finally decided that it was time to reveal herself!
“Isn’t that more of an opinion than anything else,” Tokiko hummed the familiar words into the air before peeking from behind the statue with an innocent grin.
At first her plan was to scare Tarou but after overhearing his distress, her heart was too much at loss to meddle with his hard work. Lucky for him, she already got enough amusement by witnessing how their roles had switched compared to last time they met.
It was more fun to see him unbalanced once in a while, knowing how perfect he can get behind the register.
“So what are you thinking about, Kick-san? Are you alright?”
Tokiko stepped out from hiding, a pair of eyes blinking at him curiously.

Chapter 1: Lovely Days | ➳💝 | Tokiko
The biker watched Dai’s and Suki’s speech to wrap itself into a nice present with a cute ribbon on top when they both had finished talking and fear set into some people’s hearts.
(Well. Not Tokiko’s though.)
And she almost had to cover her mouth with her hand to hide a cracking smile that formed on her lips. Pair of brown eyes trying to go hiding as she averted them.
(Definitely not hers!)
Of course she felt bad… being amused in the midst of her classmates’ tears and panic, but dropping on her feet and crying with them wouldn’t have exactly made it any better. The way their situation had been turned upside down just felt way too unrealistic to be true, and no matter how good actors their hosts were - how was anyone supposed to believe that?
It was a fact that they were in a game show. A game show that could easily trick their players to think that this was all true, but after the curtains would close the who-ever-this-mastermind-or-boss were would laugh at their faces in a sick, twisted manner. And it was almost unbelievable how quickly her peers got caught into the act without any sight of consideration. Even Tarou who she glanced at after his reply to the crown wearing girl.
(Was Tokiko the only one who missed the script? Everyone else were taking it seriously except for her..)
Shaking her momentarily doubt out of her head, Tokiko decided that it would be for the best to leave them be despite being one of the oldest classmates present. She wasn’t a fan getting affected by others’ emotions and the atmosphere was already making her doubt herself.
(Understanding how severe their situation was would have been pretty hard anyway.)
And so, whistling happily without a care in the world, Tokiko went to search for some food to replace their nonexistent breakfast.

Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan turns and blinks once before his eyes widen with surprise. “I’d never - I’m not like that.” Tegan stumbles over his words as his steps falter right before he ducks behind the curtain to change.
Changing in practically less than a minute, Tegan steps back out in his usual clothes, self-consciously tugging at his bangs.
Judging by her tone and body language…he’s pretty sure that she was joking…regardless. He….shaking his head Tegan cracks a tiny smile at her.
“Yeah…and I’m sure I don’t want 14 students chasing after me.” Tegan says firmly.
“….I suppose I’ll see you around.” He says with a nod as he steps toward the door.
Looking at his reaction, maybe Tokiko's joke was a little too much this time. She scratches her head, smiling innocently and noting to herself to avoid that kind of teasing in the future. He doesn’t seem the type to enjoy them as her other friends, but honestly she was secretly proud of herself to make him stumble like that.
“For my first blind date this was pretty much a success! Bai, bai!”
Tokiko smacks Tegan on the back for the last time before skipping past him, opening the door and already leaving their past events behind.
“Next time we meet, tell your last name so I don’t have to use wolf boy on you forever!”
She waves, walking further away from the door.
But just when she looks like she’s about to disappear from his sight, Tokiko turns around one more time and cups her hands near the corners of her mouth.
“I really had fun, sorry if my jokes went a bit overboard Thank you for dealing with me!!”
She shouts, finishing it by smiling brightly at him; no sign of the nervousness that was looming in their presence in the beginning she - finally - contently disappears to the inner parts of the castle, glad that she met him.
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Seeing the way she flinches, Tegan ducks his head. “Sorry…Force of habit.” He admits sheepishly, his cheeks heating up slightly. Hopefully she isn’t mad at him…
“Are you going to keep that on? I was planning to change back into my usual clothes…” Tegan says as he reaches for his sweater and cargo pants he had hung up earlier. “If you’re not going to change, I’ll just duck into the changing room quickly.”
As he turns Tegan mulls over what she said…she’s quite different from the other people he’s interacted with here…It’s really refreshing.
Wtih a light grin Tokiko waves her hand slightly to sign that it’s all cool with her.
“I tend to get kind of touchy with people too, so I understand, no big deal!”
She reaffirms and thumbs up in his direction, another smile over her face.
“I think I’ll save mine and show off people my new pajamas!” she spins around happily. “Daww, are you positive you don’t want 14 students chasing after you? Easier to catch a date in the future~ ”
She says, watching his back when he heads to the changing room. The girl brings her sleeves up to her face, admiring her little onsie outfit. Technically what she is planning to do with it could be considered as stealing, but it’s not like there is any rules about not being allowed to take anything from the rooms, right? So why not go for it.
“Don’t take too long though or I’ll get suspicious what you’re doing there with those innocent pink cheeks!”
She winks teasingly before laughing at her awful joke.

Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
With a quick click, Tegan captures a picture of the two of them posing for the camera.
Once that’s done, Tegan quickly sends the image over to Dai and Suki. “I suppose we just have to send it.” He says with a shrug. “Do we have to do anything else?” He asks curiously.
Not that he wants to leave right away…but if they have to do something he doesn’t think he’ll mind working with her.
“So, were we supposed to go and do something else?” He asks. Seeing a stray lock of hair in her face, Tegan smiles gently at her before tucking the stray lock of hair behind her ear.
“This was kinda fun.”
The biker closes her eyes, thinking thoroughly what they are supposed to do now, but.. there really isn’t anything left, so..
“Hmm, hm! I think we are just free to leave this room now and continue our day like nothing hap—...”
Tokiko pauses and blinks, barely noticing the lock of hair near her face before he tucks it away. Her eyes following the movement of his hand, she flinches a little, quickly fixing some hair behind both of her ears after him. Though she isn’t the type to be conscious of others’ touch, it was definitely embarrassing to have someone else fix her mistakes!
“You could have just told me there’s something on my face..” Tokiko chuckles, brushing her fingers down through rest of her hair. “But thanks!”
A touch of pink proudly glowing on her cheeks, she ends her laughter with a sheepish grin. The expression matching nicely to her alpaca onsie.
"Considering that I’m definition of fun, the pleasure was mine! Though I guess I could give you some small credit, you big wolf!”
The biker moves beside him and teasingly hits him on his shoulder.
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan laughs, and shakes his head. “Please no.” He says. However he beams at her, looking much more at ease in comparison to when their blind date first started.
“I think you look pretty cute too.” He says. Pulling out his ID, he teasingly tugs down Tokiko’s hood.
“You ready?” He asks moving to stand beside her so that they can take the selfie like what the Cupids instructed.
Tokiko does a small circle in one spot, stopping soon after and facing him again.
“Aww, that’s too bad. I feel like I could wear mine for the rest of my days,”
Dramatizing her disappointment, she shrugs her shoulders. Once he starts tugging her hood, Tokiko protectively brings her hands on her head and a small frown settles on her face - but it’s nothing serious.
“Watch out the onsie!” she jokingly whines and ends up patting the little cute face on her hood. “But whenever you’re, gao!”
She creates a dinosaur sound even if those are completely unrelated to the case. Maybe it was just a poor attempt of how wolves make noise, who knows. She smoves to stand a little closer, bringing her hand, over his shoulder to and makes a peace sign. Matching the expression her onsie is wearing.
And thus once the picture is taken, Tokiko retreats and stares up at Tegan once again.
“Do you think we should send DaiSuki some kind of message as well?”
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Chuckling to himself Tegan nods as he turns around to change as well, unzipping his sweater and hanging it up on one of the empty hooks. “It’s alright.” He reassures her.
Once he’s sure she’s behind the curtain, Tegan kicks off his cargo pants but leaves everything else on. Once he’s done, Zipping up the front, he turns around and waits for Tokiko to finish.
“What do you think?” He asks with a slightly embarassed look on his face. He…kinda feels stupid. “….I kinda feel ridiculous.” He admits.
Hopefully they take the picture soon so that he can get back into his normal clothes…
Tokiko has always been a fast girl, so it doesn’t take long for her to change some pair of clothes. Making sure she has brushed off the dust from her fluffy alpaca outfit, the girl continues by dramatically opening the curtain. For a minute she poses by bringing her hand in front of her face before lowering it to her side and breaking into a grin.
“I think you look pretty cute it it! Wear it a few weeks and I bet you’ll have our classmates chasing after you like herd of sheep!”
She finger guns in his direction jokingly, chuckling at the image of a big wolf being chased by sheep when it should be the opposite.
“Anyway, want to use your ID to take the photo?”
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan chuckles when he sees her reaction. He has to admit he’s kinda proud that he managed to make her smile. Smiling at her praise, Tegan grins, well, wolfishly at her before winking.
“Nah. You’re too cute to eat.” He says, poking her puffed up cheeks teasingly. Throwing his onesie over his shoulder Tegan shrugs. “I’m pretty sure all we have to do is take a picture together while wearing them, right?” He asks.
Nodding at a little curtained area in one of the corners of the room Tegan tilts his head inquisitively. “Did you want to go in there to change? I can change out here. I’ll face the opposite wall.” He offers.
Confused, Tokiko blinks at him once or twice before she evades the moment with her repetitive laugh. The same as always.
“Right? Alpacas makes anything cute and you’re pretty adorable yourself!”
As an extra thank you to his compliment Tokiko gives him a rough slap on the back and quickly returns to hugging her onsie. She finds their friendly exchanges pretty nice actually, more comfortable this way than awkwardly sitting in one place. After all it takes two people to play this game.
The girl approaches the curtained area after he finishes speaking and she swirls around to give him a brief look.
“No promises that I won’t take a peek!”
She grins and makes an innocent joke that is probably worse than her earlier ones. Though once she remembers the scars on his face, the biker somehow tries to fix her words.
“That was a joke- sorry, I’ll get dressed up now and let’s take the picture real quick!”
And she’s off to her little corner to beat herself up how dumb she is when there is a high chance Tokiko will just forget about it later.
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan nods thoughtfully as he takes what Tokiko says. Cracking another smile, Tegan smiles toothily at her. “Maybe. Who knows.” He says with a wink.
However he goes back to searching for things. After a moment he bursts out laughing and pulls out a wolf onsie out of the racks of clothes. “What do you think?” He asks with a grin. He knows he said no ears or collars…but this is more pajama related to anything else.
“What do you think?” He asks tilting his head to the side.”Maybe there’s a onesie that you’ll like….”
When he returns to go through clothes Tokiko scratches her cheek a little, wondering if they are ever going to make it out of this room, if at all. Or if he was joking like she was, but somehow all those thoughts are quickly scratched away (again) once he came back with an idea.
Brown eyes almost sparkling after he finishes talking, it barely takes a minute for the biker to follow his steps and find herself a fluffy alpaca onsie as she processes to give Tegan a friendly nudge to the side of his arm.
"Carnivore and his prey? Sounds great to me!”, she praises him, pretty pleased at the results. ”Though if you are going to fulfill your threat I would prefer if you gobbled me up as a whole instead of tearing this cute pajama with your teeth.”
Holding the alpaca outfit protectively in her arms, Tokiko jokingly puffs her cheeks until they go red and she simply finishes with a snort. Not very classy but at least it was an attempt to stop smiling for a second.
“So after we dress up, then what?”
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan shrugs at the mention of dressing like Dai and Suki. Sure he doesn’t have any ideas at the moment but he wants to be a little more original than that.
Grabbing the cloak reflexively Tegan bursts out laughing once Tokiko emerges from the clothes. “What pretty eyes you have m’dear.” He teases as he wraps the cloak around his shoulders.
Once he’s got the cloak on properly, he grabs one end with his hand and holds his arm up to his face. “Vat do you think about Vampires?” He asks in a really, really bad Dracula accent.
Cheeks flushed behind his cape, Tegan ducks his head shyly as he lets his arm fall to his side. “In all seriousness. Maybe we’d get by better if we figured out what we’d want to dress up as.” He suggests.
“Something out of…I dunno, Disney, Horror, Fantasy, Mythology…What kinds of things are you into?” He asks.
Taken back by his compliment Tokiko blinks at him confused but shrugs it off pretty quickly after his vampire act forces the biker to bring her hand to her mouth to cover the tiny giggles that start to slip out into laughs.
“W-what are you going to do, sink your teeth into my neck?”
Behind her palm hides a cracking smile as Tokiko chuckles out her reply, calming down. So far they aren’t really reaching into any ideas, but at least this is fun, she thinks to herself and steps out of the clothes - back to the real world - to answer his question.
“Hmm, hm, anything considered cute? Though I think it’s their softness and how comfortable they make me feel that matters the most. Like a warm pajama to sleep in?” she hums, brushing some hair behind her ear. “But I doubt you want to dress up as an alpaca more than anything.”
Tokiko flashes yet another grin at her vague-ish reply.
“But there’s nothing that I really want to dress up as which is probably why this task feels so difficult to us,” she claims with a nod.
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan blinks once when Tokiko moves to touch his hair. He certainly isn’t opposed to the action…though it does move his bangs away to reveal more of the car that cuts through his eye.
Cracking a grin Tegan shrugs. “You think so?” He asks letting her take the dress from his hands. “And it’s up to you. This just caught my eye.” He explains.
Turning back to brows through the racks Tegan nods. “Purple is one of my favourite colours…I’m not entirely sure about fitted clothes, but usually I wear large shirts.” He says. “I suppose I like ties more than ribbons…and I’ve never worn a suit with tails before, but that is something I’d be down to at least try on…” He muses aloud.
“What do you think?” He asks, reaching upward to grab a feathered wizard’s hat off a top shelf and placing it on his head with a wink.
“Any suggestions about what I should wear?” he asks. Looks like Tegan’s feeling pretty comfortable now.
Her smile lightens a little bit at his question.
“Really,“ she says in a more serious tone compared to her previous ones, putting aside the dress he had given to her. “Also thank you for being considerate, hehe.”
She glances at him and his scars one more time, not like they were left unnoticed but the biker decides to save the question for later. Maybe when Tokiko could call him a friend, (and knew more than his name and preferences in clothes) she would ask about it, but in this moment it might have been too soon.
“Looking good, but I bet we can aim for something even better!” she tumbs up at the wizard hat.
“I wonder if they have any replicas of Dai’s and Suki’s clothes.. if we dressed up like them, they should count it as matching outfits.”
She chuckles, shifting through the clothes before actually entering in and swimming inside the collection. Taking more than few minutes before she throws him a purple, hooded cloth but still keeps herself hidden.
“Since animal ears are off limits for you, how about Big Purple Riding Hood and his grandmother?”
She suggests, putting on tiny a pair of round glasses and finally peeking out from between the clothes, in an attempt to surprise him..
“See, don’t I make a great one?” she jokes again. Looks like this is going to be a long date.
Tegan & Tokiko | Blind Date | Reaction and Closed Thread
Tegan chuckles, though half of it is due to nerves. “Of course. As long as you don’t make me put a collar on. Or ears.” He says cracking a small smile. However judging by the way his shoulder relax, he’s feeling a lot better about the situation they’re in.
“Aside from what both of us don’t want to wear…did you have any ideas about how we could end up matching?” He asks, stepping to the side so that Tokiko can get a better look at the clothes they have available to them.
Blinking, Tegan pulls out an article of clothing that catches his eyes. Pulling it out, the light fabric that it’s made of practically floats to the floor. Pale lilac in colour, the long sleeves of the dress flare out and cascade downward. The dress itself looks like it’s floor length.
Carefully Tegan gently rubs the fabric between his fingers. It’s impossibly soft…Maybe…this could be something they could work with?
“What do you think Tokiko?” He asks shyly, offering the dress to her.
The girl lets out a dramatized gasp at his comeback.
“That was exactly what I had in plans for you, just how did you figure it out!?” Breaking it off with a soft laugh though, telling that she is obviously joking. “But no, not really, I barely have any ideas about anything.”
Really, if things continued this way she would see no problem in getting along with the boy. Tokiko then moves to inspect the clothes more closely, humming some random song before she is interrupted by his suggestion.
“Huh?” she tilts her head a little curious, glancing between the dress and his face. “Hm..not that I’m really a fan of formal wear but..”
Tokiko walks in front of him and in one swift motion she comfortably slicks back some of his hair with her fingers. Already forgetting that they’re practically strangers.
“I don’t think you’d look too bad in it.”
She beams, giving Tegan her usual childish grin before casually moving her hand back down to try the feel of the fabric he’s holding. Timid fingers opposing her cheerful personality, she grips the dress like a foreign object. And, to be honest, to her it is. When was the last time she wore something like this? If ever? In what occasion? Bikers break rules and are rough, not followers of etiquette and flowy..
The thought makes her a little hesitant, but Tokiko brushes it off with another smile.
“Why won’t we focus on you first? I can tell shades of purple are your favorite color but what’s your size? Ribbons or ties? Suits or tails?”
