HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED SOMETHING SO CUTE THAT IT PISSED YOU OFF AND MADE YOU WANT TO VOMIT WELL LOOK NO MORE BECAUSE HERE IT FUCKING IS
FUCK EVERYTHING
THIS WAS MY FACE AS I WATCHED THE ENTIRE THING
I didn’t know they made that peep noise

Do it. Fucking push him out. Do it for the vine, Vee.
Well, shit, some first impression this was turning out to be. Mikio more or less… just kinda directed all of his attention, or at least in terms of looking, to the ground, or somewhere else, pretty much avoiding eye contact with the other. Fuck. He was fucking this up. Fuck.
“Hmm… Vee-san, right.
…Do… D-Do you want me to leave? I can leave… “
But my hands are potatoes.
Yes I want you to leave. Get out of my fucking seat, my bag was enjoying sitting there, you stupid lowlife. Except she didn't actually say that because that was too uncharacteristically mean. She didn't hate this guy yet. She figured just directing the subject somewhere else was an entirely more viable option.
"You know, generally when someone introduces themselves, their conversational partner does the same."
As if you're one to talk, Vee. Come now, when do you talk about yourself unless you feel like it's a good idea? She just kind of stared for a moment. Was this guy serious? The thought crossed to just grab his crotch and make sure he had some balls because this was kind of embarrassing. But that would be more embarrassing, so let's not do that.
Despite her hypocrisy she was at least right. Usually the people she has met so far had done a wonderful job of introducing themselves.

Vee was making quite the ruckus while blowtorching...whatever it was she was working on. It was hard to tell at first glance, but it certainly didn't look pretty. Maybe working in the near empty Chemistry lab, looking to get away from people, and being unnecessarily loud while students were walking around was a bad idea on her part, but how else was she to get work done?
Regardless, when she was approached, she pulled off the face mask and set it onto the table. She looked at her guest like she had done nothing wrong.
"Is there something I can do you for?"
15 Have Entered The Shop
Well that was an odd proposition. Certainly out of nowhere, but nothing this girl has said or done has been in the ordinary.
"…I can’t say I wouldn’t appreciate the assistance. Do you have any experience with sewing? I’m talking specific stuff, like altering clothing…"
Making an offer like that, there was only one logical conclusion.
"Or, if you prefer, you can pay in installments, rather than upfront. Whatever’s easier for you, Vee."
Damn. She was caught.
"Like... with a machine, correct? If you mean by hand, I can't say I do... but..."
"...That might be preferred with my current allowance, yes."
Vee gave a small shudder. Allowance was such an ugly word. Being allowed to have that set amount money. Being set to a specific amount chosen by papa. The thought made her cringe. It was probably slightly humorous to watch her robotic lid twitch slightly.
Now she supposed working for him wouldn't be a necessity, but part of her felt like she owed him for being so lenient with her. Beneficial? Perhaps so, if she played her cards right.
"Even with that in mind, I wouldn't be opposed to helping out. I am always up for learning a trick or two."

Looked her age? She must have been looking at someone else, Mikio didn’t look her age at all.
Having recently been sent a little money for food, writing materials, etc, he decided to head out of the school grounds and into town himself. He wasn’t exactly running into any familiar faces, or, hell, any students in general along the way, but hey. That wouldn’t be too bad either, would it?
He stopped walking as he heard the voice, glancing back at the girl seated nearby, moving her bag and leaving behind the empty seat. Oh. Well, that was nice. Huh.
So, there he went, sitting down in the seat with a moment of hesitation.
“Er, t-thank you, ma’am. Are… do you mind— n-no, no, you wouldn’t have… moved your bag, if— if you did mind, uh…”
Ooooh no. He was one of those people. If he started constantly apologizing for something Vee would honestly just push him out of the seat. Now, Vee, first impressions were often way off. Just think about the people you've met already. Though, she did wince a little at "ma'am". She realized they were just being polite she she just wished that...they kind of weren't.
"Vee. Call me Vee."
She gave a soft sigh. She realized that must've been an odd name to call her by, especially considering a lot of people here in Japan had pronounced it "Bee", but at least a lot of people she's run into at this school were intelligent enough to know how to put their teeth against their bottom lip. She wondered how long that would last?
"And don't mention it."
She kind of wished he didn't at all. She was starting to regret it with each passing second.

Vee looked particularly uninterested with the newcomers. She tried to tell herself that they might be interesting, but honestly she was sure she would much rather lock herself away in the chemistry room and just go wild. However, surely if they were here, they needed something from you, Vee?
That was a fun thought on it's own. Maybe they'd give her a reactor to tinker with? She highly doubted it, but it was a fun thought to entertain.
"Is there something I can do you for?"
15 Have Entered The Shop
"Very well. In that case, given my current workload, I’d say expect it in about three or four days at least."
He returned her bow with a slight nod, tearing the top sheet of paper off the notepad he was writing on, making a few last notes before folding it up and setting it aside.
"…We have gotten plenty of customers here since I opened this place. I suppose word has gotten out that I’ve apprenticed on Saville Row before coming back to Japan. Ah, well… It’s not particularly easy, but it’s something I just have to do…"
Vee nodded again, mumbling an "I see, I see" to herself. Well, no point in beating around the bush, right? It wasn't like Vee had the capability to do that. Why beat around the bush, after all? It wouldn't get you what you wanted. Being assertive is the only way to get places in life. She gave a little hum before she spoke again.
"Sounds like quite the work load. I'm sure it's worth it, for what you'd be making, right?"
"Here's a crazy idea: how about I lend you a hand? It's the least I can do for having you assist me in obtaining proper wear, hm?"
Yikes, maybe you were being a little too headstrong, Vee. Ah, well, we'll just have to work on your manners later. At this point, she wasn't sure what she was expecting. She liked to think on benefits, and this surely was beneficial to the tailor. If anything, she would be astounded if Kisho had said no. A part of Vee somewhat expected it.
Cloud-hopping... [Open!]
Yuuma regards the robot girl with a sleepy stare. Was she not going to apologize for tripping? Yuuma may have her head in the clouds, but she knows well enough that it wasn’t her fault. Apologizing was just a formality to get the other girl to say the same, wasn’t it? That’s why humans apologized for things they didn’t do.
Maybe she needs prompting? Hm. Yuuma will address it once she snaps out of her daze and figures out what the robot is asking her.
Wiping her mouth, (in case of drool, an unfortunate occurrence on some occasions), she glances back up at the sky for a moment.
"I have the basic layout of the school memorized, if you were looking to end up somewhere specific. Call it a side branch of my talent, I suppose…"
How else was she supposed to remember every moment of her less-vivid dreams without a rather photographic memory? She smiles slightly, patting her bangs down before continuing in a calming tone.
"I have apologized, and you have not, friend. Are you not planning on doing so? I have no qualms with that, although I believe it’s socially acceptable to acknowledge it when you land on someone’s lap."
Vee brushed down to the skirt of her dress to see if there were any blades of grass hiding within the folds. Fortunately for her, though this dress was absolute shit to her, it did a great job of keeping clean. And avoiding flames for some reason. Weird.
"Layout? No, I know the layout fairly well. My concern is attempting to find my fellow chemists. Maybe the weapons enthusiasts or engineers? Something along those lines. The maps do nothing in telling me where particular students tend to linger. It's rather frusterating."
She gave a small huff, blowing some of the bangs from her face.
Then Yuuma was going on about apologizing and Vee raised her brow. What, seriously?
"...I don't find how apologizing would be beneficial to anyone. It doesn't stop it from happening, does it?"
15 Have Entered The Shop
"Okay… It largely depends on the materials I’ll need, but… probably about 30,000 yen for a full outfit. Yes, that should be a decent average…"
Her posture in asking that question made him think that just maybe… she was expecting a smaller number than that. Ah well. He braced himself for any anger in her response, looking slightly away from her.
Gears seemed to be turning in Vee's head. Or maybe it just seemed that way because of her eye? Who knew? She stood up straight, her face rather blank before her usual grin returned. 30,000 yen, huh? Normally that wouldn't seem like a lot of money in Vee's eyes, but when she was put on an allowance, that...sort of dwindled down to looking like so much.
She could butter up her father or...mention she got mugged, maybe? Or stand up to him for being a greedy bastard? Ho hum. Maybe, but she really didn't want to write any sort of letter to her father, even if it was a simple "fuck you".
Getting a job, maybe? Sure, she could collect all the leftover money she had from what she didn't spend on food and send it on the clothes, then just save up for whatever meals she needed for the week. Then again, maybe getting a job with her...ehem, appearance wasn't a good idea. Oh, how to go about this?
Maybe she could just sell some of her stuff? You're an absolute idiot, Vee. How could you have not thought of this sooner? And you call yourself an engineer. Then again, what did you have to sell besides your absolutely hideous clothes? Would that suffice?
Sticking to a job seemed better by the second, but who exactly wanted to deal with people? Disgusting.
"It's a deal."
She gave a small bow. Maybe now would be a nice time to ask about business. And a potential job.
"...Do you get customers in here often? I can't fathom it being easy running a shop by your lonesome."
15 Have Entered The Shop
Kisho crossed his arms, completely perplexed by this woman. It seems his suspicions were not completely unfounded. This Vee was in a dangerous business…
"While I’m not about to question what would be catching your clothes on fire… I simply can’t guarantee how fireproof anything I make for you will be. Even the best commercially available fireproof material isn’t perfect…"
"So instead, I suppose we’ll focus on something that’s easier to move in. Teal… red… and hot… pink… Alright. With pants, too… I… can work with that… Chemical engineer, you said…? The name’s Kisho, by the way…"
Vee tapped her fingers on the counter now. She could probably ask him questions about this place now, but for the moment, it seemed off her mind, or at least not top priority.
"And what are we looking at cost-wise, hm?"
Was it bad she was hoping for a freebie? Of course, if that was the case, Vee would only owe him the best of favors. Hey electronic eye seemed to flicker when she grinned again. Oh this was almost exciting. She would finally be getting clothes she actually liked wearing.
Some late night fireworks for you all.
15 Have Entered The Shop
"Plain and comfortable, hm? And teal, to boot… Are you looking for a dress, something like what you’re wearing? Or will something more casual than that do?"
He pulled out a small notepad from under the counter, taking a few notes. The whole bit about catching fire bothered him a little, but nothing beyond his already raised suspicions.
"Be warned, though. I won’t be giving you a refund if you catch them on fire."
Vee made a face when he mentioned her current dress and immediately shook her head. She may have liked the cute little bears that were on it, but other that that, well...let's just say Vee wouldn't have minded if it did catch fire.
Then he mentioned...refunds? Hm?
"I usually still wear the clothes that catch fire. Assuming they're not completely turned to ash, of course. And not while they're on fire, that would be silly."
She gave another nod, like she was agreeing with herself or something of that nature. Either that, or she was still trying to think of something more that she could give--- what did he say his name was? Vee didn't recall a name at all, really. Did he not give one? How rude. Not that Vee was one to talk.
"Yes, Tailor-san, teal and...maybe red or hot pink? Something casual and with pants, preferably. Actually, if you could find something that is absolutely perfect for a chemical engineer I could repay you with whatever you asked."
Wow, a cat has never ran out of the bag so quickly. Vee wasn't one to talk about herself much, but if the tailor knew something perfect for her to wear while working then surely it was in her favor.

Minori looked up from her book when she heard movement nearby, smiling at the newcomers, a multitude of questions already starting to come to mind.
"Hey there, I’m Minori Sekai, what’s your name? Your talent too? Oh, and how are you? Have you been having a good day? Have you done anything fun? What do you like to do for fun?"
They just keep coming, more and more questions, it was as if she was trying to become best friends with someone in the span of a few minutes
Vee reached her hand forward before this girl could spew out any more questions and covered Minori's mouth. Vee put her finger to her own lips and softly replied with a "shhhh". Then, she pulled her hand away and turned around to walk out. She didn't have time for Peppy McBlabber here.
