As she got closer, she grabbed his hand lightly, smiling at him more than before— probably because she was so excited.
"Oh! Really..!!?, that’s so cool!! I can’t wait to try it all, Pavel!"
Hooking her arm in his, she looked around for a patch of grass to sit in. Finding an area, she pulled him along with her, quickly sitting down with him.
Flattening out her dress onto the cool grass, she sighed in relaxation. She’d never done anything like this before— I mean..she’s been on dates with guys—!! Not that she considered this a date! Of course not, but…all the other times she went out with guys, it was an indoor activity. While she liked it, she also liked this sort of idea- eating outside!! It looked so fun!
"Thank you for wanting to do this with me, I don’t get asked to do this sort of thing often, hehe.."
When she grabbed his hand he almost pulled away. Physical contact wasn't really his strong suit, but honestly he was getting more used to it with her around. So, he just let her drag him to wherever she wanted to sit and sat down.
She was like a painting and he constantly wanted to look. It was already a sweltering day, but somehow he felt even warmer each time he caught a glance of her. Adverting his eyes, he opened up the basket he'd been carrying and brought out some juice for the two of them.
"It's no problem... I don't either... Get asked to this kind of stuff I mean... Er, not that you asked me, because I asked you and..."
Pavel stopped mid-sentence, realizing that he'd begun to ramble. With a shy glance at her, he poured the juice into a cup and gave it to her.
"Um, robots.. Er... You can drink and eat right? I've seen you eat before, so I figured yes, but I dunno if you were faking or what..."
