I just saw Vera RPing in Italian and it made me realize I haven't been on Marcus in a long time

If your character's from Europe or keeps up-to-date on European news, there's a fairly good chance they've heard of Marcus. Almost a 100% chance if they're Italian, but it decreases as you get further away. A person from Japan would only know him if they read the news really closely. A person from the United States, maybe a bit more easily.

Of course, the way that he'd be known is for his failed attempt to overthrow the Italian government with 10 reenactors.
