Ok, I’ve got a theory.

So we all know how Komaeda, with some miracle ends up having Junko’s hand in sdr2, even though Junko was completely squished to death?

So the question is: How is Junko’s hand still intact, and how did Komaeda get to it? Well, what if the hand isn’t Junko’s?

Komaeda never said it was exactly her’s.

Junko wasn’t the only one known as the SHSL Despair.

Mukuro was as well.

Mukuro and Junko are twins. We know Mukuro dressed as Junko, and died from the spears. But her left hand, the one Komaeda has, stayed intact, with the nail polish and everything.

I have no idea how, but Komaeda most likely found Mukuro’s body, and since she was practically the same as Junko he took her hand.

He either hated Mukuro and took her hand knowingly, or he took it by mistake, because he couldn’t have known if it was Junko or Mukuro.

I probably sucked at explaining all this, but it’s just a theory, and it could it o- o

[I never thought of that, actually. I kind of figured that poor Mukuro's body was left alone after the explosion. Besides, I don't know how Tsumiki and the others would feel about taking a part that wasn't actually originally on their despair queen.

I always just assumed that she mistimed the Detention execution (maybe on purpose) so that she fell through without actually getting squished (like Naegi). I feel like she'd think dying slowly from her other wounds/bleeding out would be much more despairing, yeah? 

I actually really like (well, not /like/ since it involves hurting Mukuro even more) this theory, though. Definitely would make sense for Komaeda.]
