Some thoughts of chapter 24 + of COTW

I reread the manga, and I feel like Shuan is just a lonely man. I think he just wants a place where he belongs, and not feeling like an alien since he's 9 years old, but since he feels betrayed by his mother and the elders that made him a daimonas against his will, he doesn't have a place where he fits, cutting him even further away from the other inhabitants of the mud whale, also making him loose any trust he had.
