We defended a 14 year old giveaway blogger that they were bullying. Telling them off was one thing but they took it too far. Some of us actually came out of retirement when someone told us what was going on just so they knew it was taken too far. It created discourse for them because they didn't want to be called out for their shit I guess? As for failing, we didn't. Still wonderful friends with the amazing people that joined us after Arcy was removed. There is a public chat and everything. You gotta message a member of the retired GBL for the link though, we don't want drama started in there.

As a newer giveaway blog, may I ask you a question? What was it like in the older days of giveaway blogs? Was there always this much drama going on? I try to stay uninvolved in the drama, but since I've joined the community it's just been almost constant, I've even had to take breaks from giveaways because the drama around me stressed me out to much.. Was everyone friends at one point? What was that like?

It was magical, Anon. It was magical.

The community was calm and friendly as heck. You could make friends by randomly sending memes to another blogger or by chatting with your followers and the more happiness and love you gave the more you got in return. 

There are a lot of newer blogs I’ve never seen before who got involved in the drama but the older ones (most of us on hiatus or retired) were friends. I have lots of saved messages of happier times.

I’m sorry that this is the community that was left to you, Anon. I really am. I know that you can make it a better place like it once was though. Be friendly, be loving, and be firm.

EXTRA EXTRA: READ ALL ABOUT IT. GBL is not officially gone despite certain people attempts to make us believe it. Group closer than ever! Jokes aside, glad to see you remained friends.

Very close friends! Can't go a day without talking to this bunch of wonderful people. After the incident that made us lose a couple of members we found the perfect group of people that just mesh so well together. Even though some of us got too busy to play Pokémon we are still there for each other day in and day out.

Go get cubones for this awesome persons giveaway! I mentioned one of my regrets was never doing a RPDR themed giveaway so she is making it a reality! I picked out the Pokémon and named them and I really hope the other RuPaul fans out there appreciate them.

You said there was someone that informed you of the "bullying" who was it? Who decided Tantrum and her lackies needed to come back and reclaim their "throne" with their stupid GBL that didn't work out?

Honestly, does it really even matter who told us? It’s over. Let it rest. And why are we Tantrum’s lackies? We all saw something was off and decided to come out of retirement to say something about it, that is all. She isn't our ringleader. And as for the GBL, it didn't fail. There was a generation change. Not everyone of us could play it because life was busy. We moved on. 

Now please, stop. Go back to living your life, which hopefully doesn't involve sending hate in Tumblr. 

Oh, and one last thing before you go, telling people to not bully a child isn't a power play. It’s human decency. We do not regret standing up for someone.

Maybe it wasn't your intent but what you did was meant to hurt her. Don't speak of harassment and then publicly attack someone. You're definitely a factor in her deleting. What she and Lex regarding poppliogiveaways could have been handled better but you should have never gotten involved, especially since you only came back from hiatus to shit on someone. That's not okay dude

Where were you? Nobody else was standing up against the bullying. I thought Tumblr was against that stuff? I thought we were about kindness and understanding and not hurting people? I was informed that shit was happening and NOBODY was doing anything to stop it. The fact that I had to COME OUT OF RETIREMENT just to say something should be a sign.

Tell me who’s really at fault here? If you’re okay with bullying for whatever reason, rethink your morals.

Yes, I said some mean things. I’ll own up to and stand by that. Telling the truth hurts but it’s better to deal with it, heal, and move on than go along with a lie while bad shit is being done to people.

So, don’t come to me and try to lay it all at my feet. I stood up for something. What’d you do?
