RP Idea: BB breaks into L’s headquarters while the two Kiras are being forced to confess.

It was 11 PM. 

The room was dim, with it’s only illumination being the eerie screen showing the two suspects of Kira - Misa Amane and Light Yagami.

The detective crouched, owl like, with his wide, round eyes, in a nocturnal trance, observing the two. Miss Amane was still offering ways for him to free her, steadfast, she stood in her to give him any information. Light was still looking into the camera, fierce with anger at the camera, fully knowledgable as of who was behind it. 

“Mr Stalker? ... It would be a lot funner if I wasn’t just sitting here... You know where I live. Maybe you can pick out an outfit for me.” 

The offer was tempting but he didn’t give in. He heard footsteps behind him and turned his head back to see two it was. They sounded too carefree and didn’t pop and snap like Watari’s.... They almost sounded like...

His older brother, Rue Ryuzaki...

But it couldn’t be...

He was set aflame two years ago. He burnt alive. 

But he looked fine. How could it be?

so Light sees Misa as an idiot. but can we please talk about how Misa has VASTLY MORE experiential knowledge? like ok she:

understands what death and murder actually mean. while she may have wildly misinterpreted this and acted inappropriately, she actually knows what it means for innocent people to die. she makes her decision to become the second kira after having a long-running, close relationship with death

unlike Light, Misa doesn’t avoid people on the presumption that she’s better than them. while L and Light are busy playing mind games, Misa gets Higuchi to admit that he’s Kira based on her social intelligence. Light may understand people better in the way that he can analyze them and tear them apart, not denying that. But Misa can actually relate to people. Misa does not dance around people’s heads trying to make them her puppets. She’s very blunt about what she wants.

Misa is self made. While not downplaying Light’s professional achievements, it’s obvious that being Soichiro’s son allowed him to get into police work much sooner than he would have otherwise. Furthermore, while acting as Kira, he used this police information to his advantage. When he says no one else could have done it, he’s probably right. No one else had the same advantages as him. But Misa, as dependent on Light as she may seem, is actually much more able to act independently. She acts as Kira without him to begin with. She tends to plan on her own and do things more spontaneously. This is because, unlike Light (desperately crying out for Mikami, Misa, and Takada, lmao) she BUILT AN ENTIRE MISA MISA BRAND. As naturally talented as Light is, Misa is equally talented but in a different field. And this DOES provide her comparable- though not the same- advantages.
