I’m so sorry for how inactive I’ve been for a few months! I’ll try my hardest to write more again. My writing is pretty rusty so please excuse that as I haven’t written anything like this for awhile.
- When you first offered to paint his nails, Shuichi was hesitant with your innocent proposal. He kept denying your ask and kept requesting to you ask somebody else to engage with your activities. Shuichi gave into your stubborn nature and eventually agreed, but he still sounded unsure.
- “What colour?” You asked, while showing off the available colours. They were quite diverse, some were bold, bright colours that stuck out from the crowd. Some were dark, melancholic ones that seemed to work on the young man perfectly.
- “I-I don’t mind...” He stuttered. He was completely surprised at the fact that you couldn’t tell how flustered he was. His face was flushed with a deep shade of red, he just didn’t want to believe that you were this oblivious to his emotions.
- “I’ll just pick this dark blue one, it fits your uniform perfectly!” You flashed a warm, comforting smile which didn’t help Shuichi’s heart rate at all. But then you held his delicate, pale hands in a light manner and started doing your job. This only made the butterflies in his stomach linger and wander around even more.
- His hand didn’t stop shaking, not even one bit. They were trembling so much as if he was in the coldest area on earth. “Shuichi, are you cold? Do you want me to get you a blanket?” He turned his head, signaling you that he doesn’t need a blanket. The way he moved his hands made it almost impossible to paint his nails. They were chewed on, most likely because it calms his anxiety down. He’s a detective with a tower of cases that do nothing but increase his stress levels.
- You had to use a cotton bud to clean up the sides of his fingers so many times because he couldn’t keep his fingers still. “Shuichi! I need you to stay still or else I can’t paint them properly.” The way you talked, the flow of your words and the way you were so focused on his hand made his blush deepen even more. The simple nose scrunch you did whenever you messed up made him tingle even more. He was completely vulnerable in this situation.
- After you were finished, Shuichi analysed his hands. He just couldn’t stop looking at them. They were so beautifully and meticulously painted that it was astonishing. The best part about it is that it was done by you. Even though he couldn’t function throughout the process. “Thank you, s/o. I like them a lot, I really do like them.” He mustered the courage to plant a small kiss on your forehead. He was still surprised at the fact that you didn’t notice a thing.

This might come as a disappointment to some but I’ll be NOT opening Mod Applications for the blog which means I’ll be working by myself. This blog is a place where I can write by myself so please don’t ask!
Can we have a jealous shuichi- Like, some guys starts flirting with his precious s/o-
I’m super sorry for my sudden disappearance! I’ve been a busy gal’ lately. Anyways I love the idea of this prompt!

-He’s not really the type to get jealous often, but when he does he can become a little clingy. Lately you’ve been hanging out with your male/female friends more often, a couple flirts were sprinkled in and that pushed Shuichi’s urge to say something. But he tends to look at situations logically so he didn’t confront them immediately.
-Overtime, your male friends kept on feeding on his jealously making it stronger to the point where he wanted to be around you most of the time. He still kept silent. It’s like he zipped his mouth up and did not oblige himself to say anything.
- Of course, you ignoring him wasn’t intentional, but it just happened. After all your hangouts with your friends, you asked him if he was alright. He nodded, but didn’t want to adapt Kokichi’s infamous trait. Lying.
-”You’ve been hanging out with your friends, alot. I’m just a little jealous.” After listening to his words you laughed, and he blushed lightly. “You’re so stupid Shuichi! We just needed catching up that’s all!”
-His tactic of solving things logically went a little downhill this time, right?
Hello! I'm really excited to see your blog grow and shuichi is also one of my best boys! So I have a request, how about some headcannons for shuichi with an s/o who really enjoys reading horror/detective novels, and they're always reading and enjoys reading with shuichi?
Since these requests are so similar, I decided to mash them together!

-Whenever Shuichi is free from his detective work or there aren’t many cases piling up on his office desk, he takes this opportunity to read his favorite genre of books. Mystery novels/ horror novels.
-You two would usually cuddle up on the couch and read them together, his stress is all washed away, he’d hold the left side of the book, and you’d turn the pages.
-Some of them can give Shuichi a few clues to his own cases, more clues = unlocking the truth of the case. You enjoy telling him about other horror/mystery novels you know of or the ones you’ve already looked at.
-There were times where you both ended up falling asleep, still holding the book and you two would wake up, at first confused but laugh it out and carry on.
-You enjoy telling him about all the paranormal things you’ve noticed, although he doesn’t seem to believe in them he still enjoys listening to your discoveries.
Oooh I got an idea! Can I have hcs on Shuichi trying to catch the Ultimate Phantom thief reader, but everytime he's close to catching them, they always get away? But before they do, they alqays send flirty remarks to him, then POOF! They gone!
This request is incredibly interesting and unique! Something I love seeing whenever someone requests something.

I flipping suck at coming up with flirtatious remarks so I just googled some. Some might be cringy.

-Weeks and weeks have gone by, marking the calendar has now turned into a tedious job. Something so simple could take more work now. Every night he works makes him loose sleep. Pulling all-nighters were much more common now. It seems like any time he tries to catch the thief. They get away like magic.
-There was one night, where he was completely convinced that he’ll finally find the culprit of the case, that he finally lost them to another flirtatious comment.
-“Hey! Mr.Detective, I’m just trying to make a phone book. Can I have your number?” Then, POOF! They’re gone again and Shuichi still can’t handle that one other flirty pick up line.
-He goes to sleep every night thinking the same thing, when will be the day he finally catches the thief? It’s been so long since the word got out about the thief and he’s been trying so hard to the point where he thought he might not require the skills to catch them.
-It was best to try figure out how the thief managed to escape, they’re now notoriously known as someone who can get away slyly without a chase. Shuichi still can’t get over those flirtatious remarks and does distract him at times.
Could I request an imagine where shuichis s/o is tough and doesn't show very much emotion but they are super soft to him too the point where it surprises all of their friends how they can go from yelling at someone for doing something stupid to talking quietly and gently to shuichi in seconds?

-Shuichi is a type of person who tends to keep his distance from aggression, the thought of even getting involved in such matters can give him some tension and a little bit of fear. Which isn’t good to add since he’s already an anxious person.
-You were a tough person, your emotions were locked in and seeing you express any kind of regular emotion was rare. But somehow, he didn’t seem to mind it too much. Though he did imagine how it would be like for you to express emotion.
- It was only at the start of your relationship that you kept your emotions in. He didn’t have the key to unlock your loving side. But he knew it would be sometime soon.
-But now, you’re like a completely different person. Seems like he got to see what’s really inside that tough self of yours. Shuichi seemed to be the only person who you could show your soft, loving side.
-Your friends could describe you as an aggressive person. Your yelling can be quite scary at times to the point where your friends are completely confused on what your real personality is like.
-Shuichi does get a sense of fear in him whenever he sees you yelling at others and once your finished. You seem to be back to your soft and loving self. He’s completely bewildered on why he was deserving on that affectionate side of yours, but does enjoy that tender side of yours.
-Seems like he’s one of the only ones who you trust enough for him to see that affectionate side you have.
Psst.. hey............ can u pls write something concerning the fact that Shuichi's detective skills are more for finding cats than finding the identity of the zodiac killer and he's pretty much okay with that

-He was completely aware that he was not an elite detective. But instead of complaining it to other individuals he was completely care-free that his skills weren’t top standard.
-While he was unconditionally aware that he didn’t have the necessary skills to be able to solve such cases, if someone does point that fact out he does become a little insecure. He wasn’t ever a fan of getting his insecurities stabbed like that.
-He was ultimately grateful that he required the skills to retrieve a lost item or animal though. Perhaps not actual people like cases of kidnapping as that would require much more evidence to fact out who the exact person was.
-Shuichi didn’t show this, but he was pleased if someone delivered a missing case to him. Helping someone with their needs flatters him. He just isn’t a fan of showing his pride in complete worry of getting mistaken as an arrogant person. But the fact that someone did loose their valuable or a dear item to them, that does make him give some sympathy.
-He always makes sure that the client was specific on what the item or animal was. If he was given a task he’ll make sure he’ll complete it.
I just wanted to write something of my own just so people know what they’re getting! This isn’t a request ^^

-Shuichi wasn’t much of an affectionate person himself, compliments were sometimes already difficult to deliver. And depending on what the compliment was, it’d take time for him to accept it. So receiving affection would always give a tint of red on his face no matter how simple.
-Just after you two got into a more serious relationship you were always pouring him with affection anytime and anywhere. He could be working on a particular case for a long period of time and you could just pop behind him to give him a hug. It surprises him at first but then takes notice of what just happened.
-When he could build up some confidence he’d plant a few kisses on your face which you think is adorable because of nervous he looks. When he’s in a playful mood he does enjoy your affection but if it’s done in public his face flushes in embarrassment.
