I saw your comment on the Avatar post. I wonder, do you think earthbenders can bend human bone? Bone is made of minerals, and as you noted earthbenders can bend any mineral.

realistically every bender could sort of control humans: blood for waterbenders, bones and blood again (blood has a lot of iron in it) for earth benders, neurological electrical currents for firebenders (meaning they could literally control peoples minds), and all the gases in the body for airbenders.

humans are all of the elements combined.

Honestly, of all the theoretical abilities of benders in the atla universe, your firebending subtype of neurological electrical current manipulation is my favorite!

And I just thought of another one: Stem cell production. Earthbenders could increase the rate of stem cell production in the bone marrow of humans. Earthbenders could be healers!
