“A ‘smug jerk’, you say~?” the man repeated with a light chuckle. This boy was certainly an interesting one, fitting for being his proxy. There was a reason Joshua always won his bets…and that was because he only ever picked proxies that he could put his faith in. Neku Sakuraba didn’t let him down. Neither did Rindo Kanade.

Joshua smirked at the blond, his hands tucked into his pockets. Might as well humor him… The man didn’t think he owed anything to this boy, as he did allow his reaper-turned “real girl” friend to live…but he can be a generous being, if he wanted to be~

“Someone clearly hasn’t moved on from the little game I made with your friend~” He lightly twirled a strand of his hair. “Didn’t you already find her? Why are you still upset~? You should be grateful I allowed her to live instead of attempting to insult me~”

“Im GRATEFUL for that.” he’d utter quietly, he’s right, he didn’t have to do that, but it in itself wasn’t what he was ‘upset’ about, “why didn’t you stop the other reapers....you seem like a powerful one....why did we have to clean up the mess?”

It might be hard to believe but he’s not even that mad, he just wanted answers, no one gave his answers.
