This is Ray Douglas. On a nice, weekend day you'll likely see him in his office: a stretch of sidewalk from Leland to Melville in the Loop, St. Louis, MO.
I usually hear him before I see him. His gravelly voice carries the wonderful blues/rock tunes he plays down the block. He's intent on connecting with the people that pass him. Always a friendly: "Good afternoon!" or a "Hi there!"
Always a pleasure to run into him.
Tommy Halloran's Guerilla Swing at The Gramophone, 18Apr14. That guitar was gorgeous. It didn't sound bad, either.
Davina and the Vagabonds at The Gramophone 18Apr14. If you've never heard them, give them a listen and then find a show near you. You won't be disappointed.
WTHSTL is almost there.
