WTHSTL was on the news this morning! super exciting. :3
If you're on the north side, come check out WTHSTL at the North City Farmers' Market from 10-1 tomorrow. Crown Candy is across the street. It'll be hot as hell out, maybe a shake will be in order.
Anywho, I'll be taking pictures and fixing machines and being awkward when people talk to me. Maybe I'll see you there and awkward at you.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day. There were a lot of people interested in the project. We got to teach people how to use typewriters and some of the why's of typewriters, like: "Why isn't there a a 1 key?" or "Where's the exclamation point?"
That damn cat sculpture was the perfect height to type on one of the stations, but it was bolted to the stand. So, we didn't break it.
There's talk that we'll be at Crown Candy on the north side next weekend, that's not confirmed yet though.
I got to fix the T key on a typewriter in the cab of a pickup (because there wasn't enough light in the bar it's stationed in) with the tiniest screwdriver ever. Someone had mashed the key so hard it separated the linkage. After this project, maybe I'll start my own typewriter repair service... probably not.
St. Louis is the author. I love this city. It's teeming with beauty and talent and I think it's about to burst open. I would like to serve as a catalyst to this.

That 70's chic.
My Galaxie at 10denza in the Central West End. I felt very out of place there. It could have been that I was covered in spray glue from sticking on the logos to podiums and looking crazy. But it could also be that everything was so fancy.
So much to do and so little time
Catch Henry and #WTHSTL at ~4 and 5 on @Fox2now and @KPLR11 then on @kdhx Earthworms at 7!
