robby cooing you're soo good... you're so sweet... I'm so proud of you... because he knows that praise gets him whatever he wants, when dennis is so goddamn desperate for it. he's never met someone quite so eager to please.
the second he starts being all sweet to the poor little thing he just melts, lets robby's hands wander anywhere... slowly shucking down his little shorts, not even protesting when robby bullies his cock into den's unprepped, dripping hole, splitting the poor boy in half...
dennis doesn't try to push him away, wouldn't dare, because robby wouldn't take this if he didn't need it, right? robby trusts him. he always says so. dennis can't betray that. he can only let out pain-tinged whines, little hiccups as he struggles to take robby in, squeezing tight around the intrusion until robby's groaning in his ear. oh, shh, angel, I know, I know it hurts... just breathe through it, baby, aww, that's a good boy. doctor robby's sooo proud of you.
robby can't believe his luck, as dennis goes lax again, pliant and easy. what a perfect, moldable toy. he hardly had to break him in. just a couple of nice words, that's all it takes, huh? he groans again as he starts slowly pumping his hips, the wet heat of den's cunt heavenly around his cock. the poor thing is making the cutest little noises as his hole is used, little gasps and whimpers as he helplessly clings to robby. cute.
good boy, good boy, there you go... taking me so well, baby, doing such a good job. hey, hey, don't close those legs— there you go, keep em wide open, let daddy allll the way in, huh? I know, I know... you're being good, you're so, so good, sweetheart. juuust like that. <3
A part of me loves to think that he was intentionally manipulating Kreese (who is obsessed with him) here.
Because he stopped crying QUICK after Kreese said that...
prev reblog i now have MANY thoughts about daniel accidentally discovering that (unintentionally) talking like kreese drops johnny right into subspace
all it takes is one “doll” and johnny’s ready to do anything, all sweet and pliant and a little ditsy, big eyes and fluttering lashes and slack jaw. daniel loves it at first and definitely uses it, praises johnny endlessly for how sweet he goes — right up until eventually some note of distress in johnny’s submission, too desperate to please, too scared of the alternative, makes it suddenly click into place that it’s a kreese trigger. and suddenly imagining johnny in exactly this state for kreese to use him, hurt him, gut him, makes daniel feel nauseous.
Cobra Kai should've been a queer show because it's been months since it ended and the only thing worth remembering is how gay all of them bitches really were
Baby Pittlings!
Huckleabbot but it’s Jack just paying for way too much shit. He lives alone, his house is paid off, he makes a tenured attendings salary and still gets disability checks. He has loads of money, a full 401k, and nothing to do with it.
Frequently, Dennis finds random $20 bills in his locker.
When people go out to drink, Abbot always pays for a few people’s tabs—including Dennis’.
Jack texts Dennis, asks him if he’s hungry, and Dennis mysteriously receives a DoorDash order of whatever he’d mentioned to Jack.
Dennis complains about his work shoes losing their tread, and receives a brand new pair in the mail a few weeks later.
Dennis keeps receiving anonymous Venmo payments of $250 every two weeks.
And like, he knows it’s Jack. It’s obvious it’s Jack. But he has no idea how to bring it up.
When he gets another Venmo—only one week after the previous one, and Dennis had been griping about needing new scrubs—and it’s $500, so he texts Jack.
“Jack, I don’t really know how to say this, but I appreciate what you do for me and stuff, but you really don’t have to do it. Like with the money.”
Jack texts back a few minutes later.
“Don’t worry about it. I want to.”
Dennis receives another $500 via Venmo a few minutes later. He sighs, blushes.
“Thank you.”
“Of course, kid”
And unbeknownst to Dennis, Jack’s laying at home, his hand creeping beneath the waistline of his boxers.
Thinking about this again, imagine they just started dating keeping it private:
Robby in his chair : hey pup we're doing some paperwork update and we need a copy of your birth certificate for that
Whitaker: oh I was delivered here my family was passing through and had to make an emergency stop cause I decided to come out early, you should be able to pull it up on the computer
Robby: oh that's perfect let me jus-
Whitaker: yeah it was like destiny to come back don't you think?
Robby: ...
Dennis notices him freeze while staring at the computer so he leans in and sees " Michael robinavitch" as the doctor in charge of delivery
Whitaker: holy shit
That’s peak
I am very sorry. An anonymous user sent an ask requesting for a piece about Jack finding regressor Dennis on the eighth floor after the events of season one, then Rabbot becoming his caregivers. Unfortunately Tumblr deleted the draft and the original ask along with it. Thankfully I had the story saved in a Doc. Sorry for losing your ask, Anonymous. Thank you for your prompt. I made it a ‘Littles Are Known’ AU. I hope that’s alright.
It’s an unsettling contrast of elements, Jack thinks. The abandoned eighth floor of the hospital is an austere, unpersonable place, all stiff plastic and rusted metal, but here, in this former observation room, there are traces of softness. He takes his time processing these details: the small stack of incontinence pads on the shelf, the stash of hospital-issue blankets padding the bed’s thin mattress, the PTMC-branded teddy bear on the pillow—still with the security tag fixed to its ear. They are attempts at softness. Not very successful ones, Jack thinks. When his eyes trail across to Whitaker, whose chest is still heaving in fright, it is clear that he also recognises how pitiful the scene is.
He still tries to excuse it. “I will—on occasion, after a long shift—”
“Shhh,” Jack interrupts. He scrubs his hand over his face, sighing. “Now, I know no one is meant to be squatting here, least of all a little. How am I going to explain this to Robby?”
“To Robby? Wh—H-He doesn’t need to know. Why would Doctor Robby need to know?” Whitaker begins the mad scramble to collect his belongings, swiftly shoving them into a large duffle bag. Jack feels angry at how quickly he manages it, how all of his things fit in one measly, shabby bag.
He doesn’t stop him, though. He just stands with his arms over his chest, looking seriously at the boy. “Well, it would be courteous to give my husband a heads up if we’re taking in a foster. Not that we’ll have the time to set up the nursery, or buy supplies, but I like to keep him in the loop.”
It’s slightly endearing to watch recognition burst across his face. “You and Doctor Robby? I never would have—That’s great. That, and that you foster as well.” He holds his trembling gesture for calm. “Listen, I’ll find a shelter. I’ll never do this again. I promise. Please just don’t—”
“We’re fostering you,” Jack snorts. Taking Whitaker’s bag and slinging it over his shoulder, he nods towards the door. “Now, c’mon. Or do I need to carry you?” It’s a rhetorical question, a sarcastic remark, but he sees how it crashes into Whitaker, how it turns his mind blank and sends his rambling mouth falling open dumbly.
They leave the eighth floor, walking hand in hand together. Jack murmurs that it’s really fucking creepy here, that it must have been especially scary to a little, but that it’s all okay now. “No more hiding away. No more acting big,” he says as they cross the park. It’s only as they near Robby that Jack sees that this is finally making sense to Whitaker: that—more than it already has today—his life is about to change forever.
y'know yes, Baran saw Robby's doctoring skills through the day. he's been completely off the rails in most every way but he's still a good doctor, and this is where I mostly used to think the "I've grown to respect you" scene came from, because she saw his doctoring skills and he saw the slash trake among other things and they both went "capable doctor."
but I don't think that's what made Baran respect Robby, actually, on my rewatch. Baran leads with empathy. she's patient focused, she strives to better the system by starting with individuals, as seen in the prisoner case. (sorry my guy I do not remember your name)
Robby used to be better about that. we're seeing him burnt out and suicidal, at the end of this rope. his empathy doesn't shine through near as much today, but we do see it in one very important moment— Louie's viewing room scene.
he reveals Louie's story. Rhonda, the baby, the car crash. he mentions him being a groundskeeper. Louie came in talkative, and Robby listened. remembered everything, from how Louie felt about having kids at first, his wife's name, his occupation. carried that story with him, with the countless others he must keep in his head. may his memory be a blessing.
Baran sees Robby's heart here. that's what she's grown to respect. she doesn't judge him based off of the clear pain he's in, off of his shitty moments and his snapping like an anxious dog. she judges him based off of that window we see into his kind heart. and that only says very, very good things about her character. perceptive, empathetic, hopeful. in her individualism, she tends to try and see the best in people, and she saw the best in him.
people underestimate how awesome it is to have a hyperfixation on a show that's super mainstream. you're a freak if you bring up kaleidoscope gay sex scenes from shows from 2013 about cannibals, but it's totally chill and hip and cool if you talk about your favorite bowel disimpaction scene from season 2 of the pitt. it's doing wonders for my social life, lemme tell you.
With every day I'm getting more annoyed at how the season ended tbh
I have many issues and my fondness isn't on the forefront anymore
the thing about dennis/amy thats interesting to me is that it reminds me of s1 langdon/mel in a specific way where it’s not that the men don’t like the women in these dynamics (they do! a lot!) but what they like more is the way these women make them feel as they validate certain aspects of their character that get diminished elsewhere. with langdon its clearly to do with his insecurity as a doctor as mel looks to him as a mentor and makes him realise he is more than capable and worthy of doing this job. but with whitaker it’s more so to do with the emasculation he faces by his peers within the pitt (expanded on here); when he’s with amy he is fulfilling all of the societal ‘male’ roles of husband/father/breadwinner and even the physical labour aspect of his being a farmhand. amy allows him to feel masculine without him having to ask; note the way she gets out of the drivers seat into the passenger seat without question allowing whitaker to take control in a way the head of the household typical would. this isn’t his car and this isn’t his wife or kid or pond. he knows this. but he suppresses any doubts and deflects any criticisms because the way it makes him feel about himself is greater than any moral predicament he’s aware of. the reason he comes across so confident this season is because of amy, she’s the one feeding that confidence outside the hospital because he’s not getting any of it INSIDE the hospital, even when it’s from people who care about him. with santos he’s the younger brother. with robby he’s the inferior protege. with javadi he’s ‘one of the girlies’. with langdon he’s the inept ‘little buddy’. but with amy he’s the labourer. he’s the protector. he’s the father. he’s the husband. he’s the MAN. and that is why he can’t stay away.
Platonic here, inappropriate there, no but actually the funniest thing about the Whitaker-Amy situation is that these two pictures are just ten months apart. Amy lost the "love of her life," had a baby, and is at risk of having to sell her home, but ten months of hanging with Whitaker was enough to transform her from a devout, staid woman in the most unflattering 1970s maternity blouse into a fashionable smiling young person with a proper haircut. She even dyed her hair! She lost the cross necklace! That's the power of vintage funk! The avocado diet glow-up! Listen, I don't know if this is Whitaker stealthily queer-eyeing his new friend, or if his dick is truly magical, but either way this woman is living her best life.
Jack giving night shift a pep talk and them all clearly being varying levels of into it is one of the funniest scenes in the episode. Shen is having the time of his life. Nazely can barely believe this is happening. Ellis and Crus have clearly learned to go along with it. Olive and Mateo know this is what they get for working night shift. And Jack is completely unapologetic about the whole thing.
that rooftop scene in the finale was actually so important.
the rooftop is the setting in the pitt where people have these big emotional beats in which they reach out and attempt to find community. this is established in season one between jack and robby. in the beginning of episode one, we see jack facing the void and turning away from it to follow robby back to safety, robby does the with jack at the end. season two reaffirms this interpretation.
all of these women we saw on the roof were on the brink this whole season. samira was personally and professionally adrift. mel was facing her malpractice suit and sister’s independence. perlah was facing national xenophobic sentiments and the pressure of being a highly capable nurse. dana was reeling from her assault and crumbling under the pressure of her position. mckay was realizing the depths of her emotional detachment. victoria was dealing with her insecurities and lack of freedom. trinity had the situationship and the frank confrontation and the child abuse trigger and the loss of dennis’s company.
all of these women were facing a profound loneliness, a profound void, a profound lack of support. they were all alone in this all day, briefly brushing against each other in moments that chafed and soothed in equal measure.
and just like jack and robby have each other to pull them back from the edge, these women can find that with each other in the exact same spot.
the pitt uses setting very well. the peds room represents the loss and gains of family. the bathroom represents the humanity denied to healthcare works. and the roof represents the community these providers find within each other.
they all have moments where they’re correcting, snapping, or disagreeing with each other this season. samira judges cassie for talking about her lack of intimacy, victoria and trinity have a more sarcastic relationship, mel flat out said trinity has a personality disorder, dana has been short with just about everyone. but in this one moment, they band together. they process the day, feel awe and exhaustion and sadness and wonder all at the same time, all together. they build an imperfect community out of tragedies.
it’s just impeccable story telling.
ppl that think hucklerobby is dead after the finale are not hucklerobbying at my caliber
Honestly, because my entire takeaway was Robby is going to take in that baby/another baby and Dennis needs to slowly distance himself from Amy but he yearns for family so he gets pulled into the new Robinavitch family and they invite Jack too because he also lost everyone and then they become one big great patchwork family✨🌈
