i've decided to start this blog over from scratch (along with thegxldencity) so i'm going to be dropping any threads i had going from before. i might not be around until after the weekend, but when i am back i'll be pestering everyone like before, so i'll see you guys soon
i want threads with build up.
i want shippy threads,
but i don’t like forced ships.
so i want to start from the beginning,
so our muses have to grow to like, hate, or love each other.
i want them to fight.
i want them to go nights without talking.
i want them to go days where they can’t get enough of the other
and others where they hardly want to be around each other.
i want relationship development.
i want threads with build up.
i want to rp real things. that means nothing has to be perfect.
my character is allowed to have feelings.
if my character somehow falls for yours, whatever reason; it does NOT mean i am FORCING a ship on you. it means they develop a crush or fall in love with your character, and i really should be allowed to do so. it does not mean that you have to make your character love mine. it doesn’t mean anything. it just means my character likes yours and thats what it is.
this is also a message saying that it’s completely okay that YOUR character has feelings for mine, and if the feeling isn’t mutual, you’re gonna have to stick with that. i don’t control my character’s feelings, no matter how strange that sounds.
A very very rare phenomenon between two souls is that their body heat ascends so high, they go up in flames during the sexual ecstasy because of the very strong spiritual bonding.
To Freja, love is all about her parents. The only kind of love she’s ever experienced, and the only kind of love she’s ever heard about, is a parent’s love for their child. Because of this, she often finds it difficult to understand why some of her companions do the things they do (i.e. she doesn’t understand why Rin would go charging into battle to help Aoife).
Once she’s bonded with Rin, she starts to gain something of a basic understanding of romantic and platonic love, but it’s still a foreign idea to her and she doesn’t take to it very well. Needless to say, because of this she’s very slow to pick up on how she feels about Rin the longer they stay together. Freja/Rin otp you can’t stop me
Niamh
The way that Niamh has raised herself, she knows a great deal about the differences between love and lust. When she plays the innocent virgin, she knows it isn’t love that gets her what she’s after. Love is very complicated to her; she can toy with people’s lust, but it’s harder to toy with love.
Despite being married, she doesn’t love her husband in the slightest, and again, despite all the extra partners she keeps, she doesn’t particularly care for any of them beyond thinking they’re good in bed. She values platonic and sororal love more than anything, something she knows is going to be her undoing when Aoife turns up at her door asking for help.
♠ - What are they afraid of?
Freja
Freja is absolutely terrified of being left alone and abandoned. She’s been part of such a tight knit community all of her life, and then joining Aoife and the others, she’s grown accustomed to always being around people. But being around them comes with certain risks; the people in her tribe are incapable of defending themselves, and will die if she can’t protect them, Rin’s life depends on her staying alive, and she knows deep down that once they’ve finished their quest, that’s it.
Because she isn’t accustomed to having friends, it never crosses her mind that perhaps everything they’ve been through might keep the group together at the end of it, so part of her doesn't want their mission to end, even if that means they never stop fighting, just so she knows she'll always have people around her.
Niamh
Strangely enough, Niamh is scared of men. She's witnessed firsthand exactly what men can be capable of if there's something they really want, and part of her can't help but wonder what else they might be capable of. She knows women can be just as bad, but women didn't murder her family; men did.
♦ - What is one thing about them that they are most proud of?
Freja
Freja doesn't actually have anything that she's proud of. About the closest thing she considers an achievement is finding her bondsmage, but even that was largely due to Rin's actions, not her own.
Niamh
Most days, Niamh’s just proud of herself for not smothering her husband in his sleep.
One thing she is incredibly proud of, though, is how far she's managed to come. Having been spirited away from her home, given a different name to hide her identity and left in an orphanage when the last of her family's allies were hunted down and killed, no one ever expected her to make much of herself. And yet here she is, once again the rightful owner of her homelands. She likes to think her parents would be proud of her too.
♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)
Freja
Even though she has a perfect reason for it, Freja can get very embarrassed about her lacking social skills. It isn't something that's caused her any real trouble yet, aside from a few casual insults, but on the rare occasion the group spends time in Niamh’s home she gets twice as embarrassed when she compares herself to the way Niamh carries herself, especially when they're eating.
Niamh
Niamh often experiences a lot of secondhand embarrassment on behalf of her husband. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, and all of his stupid decisions reflect on Niamh more than she'd like. Added to the fact the rest of the world thinks Albert is still running the Riverlands, his more questionable decisions look even worse. She'd rather he just stay at home and play with something shiny.
