Chishiya Shuntaro x Reader
Summary: Game, Jack of Hearts. The rules seemed simple, as far as you had someone trustworthy by your side. It was a cruel and ironic joke finding Chishiya in that game. You should never trust the devil.
Warnings: smut, vaginal sex, unprotected sex, dirty talk.
Author's note: I had this idea since a long time ago, but never really had a chance to sit down and write it down. And once I did, I completely fall in love with this story. I hope you do too <3
This is an independent post, so you can read this as a one shot. But if you want more context, you can check my other AIB posts.

The rules were simple. You just needed to guess the card symbol on the back of your collar at the end of each round. Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, or Hearts. And for that, you just needed a loyal companion that would never betray you.
At the sight of everyone starting to team up, that poor, scared kid looked around trying to find someone that could help him clear the game. Between the groups that were starting to get formed, he found Chishiya, as lonely as he was. He probably thought it was safer to get close to him rather than a big group of strangers. Unfortunately, he couldn't reach him before you stepped on his way.
âHello thereâ you greeted him. The kid even jumped, consequence of how unexpected was to see you there, invading his personal space. âSorry, I didn't mean to scare you.â
You took a step back and offered him a sweet smile.
âI'm Y/N. Nice to meet you.â
âIppeiâ, he answered, shyly. âIt's nice to meet you, too.â
âWould you mind telling me my symbol?â
âYea, sure. Of course.â
You widened your smile and turned around, moving your hair out of the way softly, showing him your collar.
âThank you so muchâ, you answered, facing him again. âDo you want to know yours?â
âYes, please, if you don't mind.â
As soon as he turned around, you could easily see the suit in the back of his neck.
âOf course I don't mindâ, you assured him. âWe are now allies. Yours is Spades.â
âThank youâ, he nodded.
For the first time, he was smiling as well, though you weren't sure if it was cause he finally knew his symbol or because of the fact that you stated that you were allies. Probably both.
You spent the rest of the time walking around, discovering what was inside that building that had become the game arena of the Jack of Hearts. You also talked about yourselves. That's how you discovered that Ippei arrived at this place long after you did. And from the way he spoke, the only reason why he was alive was that he got lucky in a bunch of games, usually carried by his team.
It was only five minutes left on the round when Chishiya decided to walk towards you.
âWould you tell me my symbol?â, he simply asked you.
âYou have to be fucking kidding me.â
Chishiya didn't even bother to answer you. He just kept looking at you with an eyebrow slightly raised. That annoying smile forever printed on his lips.
âWhy on Earth would I help you?â
âYou took that guy with you cause you didn't want me to partner up with himâ, he quietly answered. âYou wanted me to only be able to come to you if I'm looking to survive this round.â
âWhat I want you is to fucking die.â
âIs it so?â, he asked. His eyes never left yours. âThen, I'll make it easy for you.â
Chishiya turned around. One hand holding his hair just enough for you to see his collar, the other deep inside the pocket of his jacket. Thousands of thoughts were running freely through your mind.
âHmâ, he simply muttered. âYours is Diamonds, by the way. Your new friend was saying the truth.â
âAnd you trust him more than me?â
You couldnât help but chuckle.
âWould you trust yourself?â
Chishiya smirked at the same time a feminine voice ordered all the players to find an empty cell.
âI'll see you laterâ, he said, making a small pause as if he was thinking of something. âOr maybe not.â
If this game didn't explicitly prohibit violence, your hands would be already around his throat.
âY/N!â, you heard Ippei calling your name. âI saved you a cell.â
You faked the nicest smile and walked towards him, thanking him for being so considerate. Once inside, when the doors locked, you thought about the sweet image Chishiyaâs corpse would make. Then, when the voice told you so, you said out loud your symbol.
You cleared the round. As you stepped outside, you met Ippei, who was still alive.
And Chishiya too, of course.
No one died in the first round, but someone did in the second one. That put everyone on alert. Paranoia starting to grow inside their brains. One of them was the Jack, and if they werenât careful enough or they trusted the wrong person, the next one to stain those cell walls with their blood would be them.
The groups were the first ones to falter, as expected. If it was difficult to trust one person, imagine trusting four or five of them. And once a few agreed on who wasn't trustworthy, no one wanted to dissent. If they did, they could become the one they lied about their symbol in the next round. They would become the next target.
You didn't let them destroy each other on their own; you actually helped them. At least you did so every time you could get rid of Ippei. Even though he decided to follow you around like a dog, it wasn't that difficult to distract him. He was too innocent. Too naĂŻve.
Anyway, you met with the gorgeous girl that seemed to be the head of the group the moment you caught her wandering around the building. She was beautiful, but also mean. You could see that in her eyes. You suggested her to be careful of the old lady. That those old rags always wanted to step over young women cause they were envious of their beauty.
Then, you caught that old lady looking for something to eat between the shelves full of food and snacks, and told her that you overheard the young girl in her team planning to lie to her in the next round, since she wanted to be the only woman in the team.
You told the man that kept looking at the corpses in the cells that the guy who was sitting next to him earlier murmured something in the ear of his colleague as soon as he left the table, which you found suspicious and wanted to share with him cause you knew he was innocent. And you said the same thing to the other guy about that creepy man that enjoyed watching dead bodies.
It was hilarious how easy was to turn them against each other.
âIs your plan to get everyone killed until the Jack is the only one left?â, Chishiya asked you, taking a cookie to his mouth. That was the only thing he has been doing the whole game. Eating damn fucking cookies.
âAs if you cared if they all die.â
âYou're right. I don'tâ, he answered. âWhat's my suit?â
âThat's your plan? To keep coming back to me every round while I dirty my hands?â, you questioned him, fairly annoyed.Â
For someone that always had a plan and thought of himself smarter than the rest, he was being useless.
âIt worked for me so far, didn't it?â, he smirked. âAnd this place is not that bad. It's definitely better than being out there, running away from the King of Spades. What's the hurry? You have someone waiting for you to clear this game?â
Before Chishiya could even blink, he was forcefully pushed against the closest wall. Despite your arm against his throat, keeping him still, his gaze was impassive. He seemed completely indifferent even if he could feel the rage that was clearly consuming you.
âDon't you even dare to go thereâ, you warned him, serious as hell.
âI was genuinely asking.â
âBullshitâ, you growled. âI'd fucking kill you right now if it wasn't for the damn rules. You're lucky I'm not suicidal. Yet.â
You let go of him and started walking away, but this conversation wasnât over for Chishiya.
âYou had six opportunities alreadyâ, he pointed out. âI'm still breathing, though.â
You were very aware of that, but hearing it from him made you hate yourself even more. There've been six rounds so far. Six times were Chishiya came solely to you and asked about the symbol in his neck. Six times where you had been unable to lie to him.
âWhy you did it?â, you asked him, changing abruptly the topic. You even turned around to look at him straight in the eye, but he didn't give you any answer. âWhy you had to set him on fire?â
âWhy you haven't killed me yet?â
Responding your question with another question was such a thing you could expect from Chishiya, but it didn't make it less infuriating.
You gritted your teeth but remained silence. Moments later, the same voice announced it was time to find an empty cell.
As you walked pass him, you ordered yourself not to answer. He deserved whatever happened to him. He actually had a twenty five per cent chance of getting his answer right on his own. The challenge would probably amuse him.
âIt's Hearts, you assholeâ, you muttered.
Even if you couldn't see him, you heard him smirk.
âSuch a coincidence. Yours is too.â
Three more rounds went by, and there you were, observing from the distance at the two people remaining of the group that once was the biggest alliance in the game.
âThey're gonna kill each other in this roundâ, Chishiya pointed out.
âI knowâ, you nodded. You could see it in their eyes. At this point, it felt like they despised each other. âAnd once they're gone, we could focus on clearing the game. Once and for all.â
âAny ideas about the Jackâs identity?â
âI do. Not that I'm gonna share them with you.â
âYea, you shouldn'tâ, he agreed. âI myself could be the Jack.â
You looked at him carefully, as serious as he was. You had already considered that option. Actually, he was pretty high in you list of suspects at the beginning of the game.
Chishiya was great reading people. Even better manipulating them. He could easily be one of the worst enemies in a Heartsâ game.Â
For some reason, Ippei had considered that option as well. Probably cause Chishiya was a loner in a game where you definitely needed to have someone by your side.
âAre you two friends or something like that?, Ippei asked you on the fifth round.
âWe were together for a whileâ, you answered him. âWith the same group of people.â
âYou had a group outside the games?â, he asked, quite surprised. âThat sounds nice. I've been on my own all this time.â
You simply smiled at him. There was no reason to explain to him what The Beach was or the terrible way it all ended.
âDo you think he might be the Jack?â, he questioned then.Â
It was the first time he was asking you directly about Chishiya, despite the several times heâd been seeing you talking to him from afar. It was sweet to see he finally found some courage deep inside him.
âNoâ, you responded after considering it carefully. âI know he's not.â
Anyway, it's not like you were gonna admit that in front of Chishiya. You wished that a small part of him was afraid of you betraying him in one of those rounds.
âI really hope you areâ, you told him instead. âI'll see your collar explode from outside the cell.â
âYou're as fucked up as Niragi. You two are definitely meant to beâ, he said, ironically.
That was the first time he explicitly mentioned his name. And for a second, your expression went blank completely. You really needed to clear this game and go find him. There was no more time to lose.
âWhat about your new friend?â, Chishiya asked you, bringing your mind back to reality. âHow do you know he's not the Jack?â
âIppei is not the Jackâ, you assured him. âNow you mention him, have you seen him lately?â
âSaw him leave a while ago.â
You started walking, leaving Chishiya behind. Unfortunately, he decided to follow you. He must haven been very bored.
There was only a bunch of people left. Therefore, as you checked each corridor, the only thing you could hear was your own steps and Chishiya munching on his damn cookies.
âWhy you care so much about him?â
âWhy you trust him blindly?â
âI don'tâ, you repeated yourself. âWhy are you fucking interrogating me now?â
The sudden silence allowed you to hear sobs.Â
You didn't hesitate before following that noise to the closest bathroom. It came from one of the toilets. You knocked softly on the door while Chishiya waited in the entrance. He was sickly interested on whatever your intentions were.
âIppei, it's me, Y/Nâ, you said. âWould you come out?â
âI'm sorry, Y/N, I cannotâ, he muttered. âI'm a mess right now.â
âIt's okay. I don't mindâ, you reassured him. âJust talk to me, please.â
It took him a few minutes, but Ippei finally opened the door and stepped outside. Teardrops still running down his cheeks despite his poor attempts to wipe them away with the backs of his hands.
âThis game is insane. I cannot take it anymoreâ, he mumbled, too close to start crying again. His gaze avoiding yours by looking at the floor. âI thought... I thought people were better than this.â
âThere's bad people everywhere. People that will enjoy hurting others no matter what. But you and I are alive. That's what matters right now.â
Since he was still refusing to look at you, you grabbed his hands and squeezed them gently. When he finally lift his face, you realised how sad he looked. Heart games could really get under your skin if you weren't tough enough.
âWe are gonna clear this round and survive this gameâ, you assured him, trying to give him some hope. It was the only thing you could do for him right now. âDo you remember your suit, right? It's Clubs.â
Ippei nodded slightly, not letting go of your hands. When you looked back at Chishiya, he had the same unreadable face. What possibly could be going on on his mind right now?Â
You didn't have time to ask. The timer was about to get to zero.
You walked next to Ippei the whole time, who was completely lost on his own thoughts. You left him in a cell and went to yours, just beside his.
âY/Nâ, you heard him calling you. He was smiling, even thought his lips were trembling and his eyes watery. âThank you for being so nice to me.â
The doors closed and the only thing you could think of was that it sounded too much like a goodbye. That damn, fucking coward.
You stated your symbol out loud, clearing another round, and waited for the rest to do the same. You couldn't do that quietly, though. You started slamming your hand against the wall of Ippeiâs cell. You weren't sure if they were soundproof, but you hoped he could hear you.
âAnswer them, Ippei!â, you ordered him. Maybe begged him. âYou know your symbol. Just answer them!â
You left your cell as soon as the doors unlocked again, but Ippei's remained closed. You placed your hand against the cold metal and took a depth breath.
The sound of footsteps from the remaining players surrounded you as they exited their own cells. They didn't wait long before leaving. Only one person stayed standing next to you.
âHe was one of the good onesâ, you muttered.
âToo kind-hearted for this worldâ, he said. Not the slightest trace of sadness in his voice. âAt least he never realised you're one of the reasons why they started killing each other.â
Without adding anything else, you both walked away from the cells block.Â
There were only four people left, apart from Chishiya and you, and they all had already a partner. That didnât stop you from thinking about who could you get as your new ally, just so you didn't have to work with Chishiya.
âDo you want me to tell you your suit?â
âWhy are you doing this to me, Chishiya?â, you asked him back.
âWhat am I supposed to be doing?â
âYou're torturing meâ, you said, firmly. âYou are clever, Chishiya. You could have chosen any of the players and used them to clear the game. But instead, here you are. Stuck to me as if you enjoyed punishing me.â
âYou think I'm clever?â, were the only words that escaped his mouth.Â
Suddenly, he was forcefully trapped between your body and the wall. Again. This game was starting to become repetitive.
âI'm done with youâ, you grumbled. âI'm not your bloody entertainment.â
He took his time, of course, but in the end, Chishiya talked. He really talked.
âI had a question on my mind. You've helped me solve it.â
âI wanted to know if you'd hate me enough to kill me. Now I know you don't.â
Your arm against his throat relaxed slightly. Your mind was coming to the realisation what all this was about: one of his stupid games.Â
While everyone was trying to survive, he was just fixated in solving one of his absurd questions.
âI also think you're cleverâ, Chishiya kept talking. âYou dress up yourself as if you were an innocent, sweet girl before coming into a Hearts game. You choose the weak, young kid as your ally cause you know he won't betray you as far as you pet his head from time to time. Of course, you make sure, round after round, that he doesn't get close to me. Just in case I decide to tell him about our time together in the Beach. About how this version of you is all fake, while the real one is an insane sadist capable of murder without even blinking.â
âSo what if I am? You think you're better than me? Is that?â, you asked him, smiling widely. Excitement shining in your pupils for the first time since the game started. You moved your face closer to Chishiya until your noses were almost touching. âDo you want me to talk about the real you, too? The one that begged for more with Niragiâs dick deep inside his ass? The one that grabbed my hips so hard to get some release that left his fingerprints marked on my skin for days?â
It was unpredictable âeven surprisingâ when Chishiya grabbed you perfectly by the wrist and twisted your arm. In a matter of seconds, it was your face against the cold stone, and Chishiyaâs body behind yours.Â
He wasn't a physical nor violent person, but he knew exactly were to press to immobilise someone. It felt like something one of those detectives in the movies would do when they catch the killer.Â
The mere image of Chishiya being a policeman in his other life made you laugh.
âWhere this need to make me act so out of character comes from?â
âAre you my fucking therapist now?â, you asked him, making him smirk.
You felt Chishiyaâs hand slowly tracing your thigh until it got lost under your big hoodie. His fingers softly caressing the skin where he left marks on during your first and last time together. That night when you decided to test how hard was to get some real emotions out of him. To unravel him.
He was right when he suggested you've dressed up before coming into this game. It was the Jack of Hearts who you were going to play against, and you were expecting crazy manipulations and several betrayals.Â
You were ready for everything, except for finding Chishiya in the same game.Â
âSeems like someone couldn't get enough of me last timeâ, you provoked him. âYou wanted me all for yourself this time?â
âYou are the one that started thisâ, he said. His deft fingers left your skin just to slip your underwear until it fell down to your ankles. âI'm just finishing it.â
As Chishiya lowered down his pants just enough to take his dick out, you realised this was nothing like the last time. That night, in your bedroom, you forced him to lose control over his whole body and emotions. Right now, it was as if he had every single movement perfectly calculated.
Feeling his cock hard as soon as it was freed from those boxers, you questioned whether the situation would be exciting him. If it was, Chishiya wouldn't be able to justify himself saying it was just one of his âplansâ.
âFuckâ, you heard him mutter as he got lost inside you.Â
You were already wet and used to Niragiâs roughness. That was nothing you couldn't handle.
âOut of breath so soon?â, you mocked him. âWhat are you gonna do now, big boy?â
Chishyiaâs answer was to twist your arm behind your back a bit harder. Just enough to keep you in place.
âShut upâ, he said. His hips started moving quickly. His erection going in and out of you trying to reach its deepest with every thrust. His fingers lingered over your face, placing your hair behind your ear so his lips could take that place. âLet's finish this quickly, shall we? I still have a Jack to catch.â
He was trying to show you how little he cared. The small power you and your body had over him. Unfortunately for him, you didn't think Chishiya was a good liar anymore. And you wanted him to realise the same.
âFor how many days have you been planing this?â, you asked him. Another thrust made you moan softly. âHow many sleepless nights have you spent wishing for this moment to come?â
His hand around your wrist tightened and his fingers sank on your flesh. There he was again. Losing control. It tasted so sweet seeing him âfeeling himâ like that.
âNo matter what you do or sayâ, you added, your orgasm getting closer and closer. âI win. Again. You know I win, Chishiya.â
You cum the moment you felt his teeth in your neck, bitting that sensitive part so hard you considered he might be tasting your blood. Your moans definitely echoed through the corridors.
Your whole body relaxed, coming down from that orgasm, but Chishiya didn't let your weak legs fail. He kept you still firmly. His movements becoming frantic. He was so close to the edge.
âI don't usually pay attention to rumours, but I heard this interesting one when we were back at the Beachâ, he said clearly over your ear. His voice, deeper than usual, and his warm breath made you shiver. âWhatever sick relationship you and Nigari had, you had one simple rule. He was the only one you let finish inside.â
That wasn't a rule, but it was this stupid thing Niragi and you came up with one of the first nights after arriving at the Beach, when you two realised how much fun you could have as far as you didn't die in one of those macabre games.
It was this wonderful and possessive idea. The fact that he was the only one with that right. The only one that could use your body like that.Â
You weren't expecting Chishiya to be aware of that. Maybe that's why his next words took your breath away:
âI think it's about time we change that, don't you agree?â
Your eyes, half-closed lazily, were suddenly wide open.Â
You knew you could fight back. You've taken down bigger and worst guys in the past. You could push him away. Go berserk until he pulled out. But you didn't.Â
You just waited for it to happen. You just ordered your brain to shut down and let Chishiya's body embrace you completely.
When Chishiya finally reached his orgasm, he moaned so beautifully that you wished you could hear that sound forever. And, without giving himself a chance to recover his breath, he got out of you. The cold air touching your skin once his warmth was gone felt wrong.
That was fucking ironic; that above all things, this was the only one that actually felt wrong.
âYour symbol is Spades, by the wayâ, Chishiya said, nonchalant, as he adjusted his clothes.
You lowered your skirt and hoodie, turning around as unbothered as if nothing happened. He wasnât the only one that could play that game, but you head was far away from the sex right now.
In the last twelve rounds, Chishiya told you the truth. But, for the first time, you didn't have Ippei to confirm he was being honest indeed. And it was too late âand too dangerousâ to find a new partner.Â
Maybe killing you after fucking you was the cherry on top of Chishiyaâs vendetta.
âYou can tell me mine laterâ, he said. His permanent smirk back on his face. âI need to do something before we can call this the last round.â
Without further ado, Chishiya walked away. Your desire of hurting him very bad was hanging out on your mind once more.
âUntil you finally decide to play the damn gameâ, you said. âIt was about time you did something, asshole!â
Chishiya kept walking, never looking back. You thought your conversation was over, but that little menace always needed to have the last word.
âAre you sure you're still talking about the game?â
Maybe not now, but one day, you would stain your knuckles with his blood. It was settled.
There was only a few minutes left when Chishiya decided to show his face again in the hall; where the game began.
âSo? Did you figure it out who the Jack of Hearts is?â, you asked him, lowering your voice in case the rest were close.
âI'm almost certain of it, yes.â
âAre you not gonna tell me?â
âAnd ruin the fun? Why would I do that?â, his answer made you consider how longer your patience could last. âWhatâs my suit?â
This time, you didn't even waste your energy in thinking about lying to him. It was obvious by now that you weren't going to do it.
Chishiya simply nodded, but you grabbed him by the wrist before he could take one step more towards the empty cells.
âI don't wanna dieâ, you told him.Â
He looked at you more than necessary, studying every part of your face. For the first time, he saw a trace of fear in the back of your gaze. And he loved it.
âI knowâ, he muttered.Â
No reassurance that he was being honest when he told you your symbol. He gave you literally nothing.Â
His steps echoed in the hallway until he locked himself in one of the cells. You were gonna have to trust Chishiya.
You laughed to yourself, choosing one of the furthest cells. You doubted anyone that had ever said that phrase was still alive.
Chishiya opened the majestic entrance to the prison. It was a relief finally leaving that place. The Jack of Hearts, that damn emo boy, was dead.
âWhat are you gonna do now?â, you asked him, after proudly contemplating the airship explode in the sky.
âFind another game, I guessâ, he muttered, shrugging his shoulders. âYou?â
âFind Niragi. We decided it wasn't safe for us anymore to play games together. But we agreed where to meet afterwards.â
âYou should take this with you, thenâ, Chishiya said, throwing some kind of bottle that wasn't difficult to catch. It was a cream for severe burns. âI bet you already treated his burns. And that he's probably using some kind of painkillers. Morphine, if I had to guess. That cream would make his body feel numb for a while. The end game is coming. He'll need it.â
âWhen did you get this?â
âAt some point during the gameâ, he responded. âFound a little pharmacy.â
âThere was no such thing inside the prisonâ, you pointed out. âBelieve me. I checked everywhere.â
âThere was. Maybe you didn't check well enough.â
Despite your accusation, Chishiya simply gave you a small smile.
âHave you seen anyone else since the Ten of Hearts?â
âArisu, Usagi, Kuina and Tattaâ, you said. âWe play a Clubsâ game together.â
âNiragi playing along with his teammatesâ, he chuckled. âThat'd have been interesting to see.â
âYea, it was quite surprisingâ, you agreed. âWe lost Tatta, though.â
You couldn't tell if Chishiya was unpleased of hearing that or not.
âYou could come with us, you know?â, you offered him. âI'll do my best to stop Niragi from killing you.â
âI prefer to work alone.â
âI knew you'd say thatâ, you said, softly.Â
You look around, analysing that the surroundings were safe before walking away. You weren't expecting Chishiya to keep talking. He has never been the one to prolong conversations needlessly.
âI set him on fire cause I hate himâ, he admitted. âCause I hate everything about him. How little he cares about human lives. How easily he makes this world noisier, and more chaotic. His unpredictability.â
You remembered the moment when you asked him this. The way he avoided the subject with another question. It was curious he finally decided to give you a straight answer.
âAnd I hate how alive he seemsâ, he continued. âI see myself when I look at him. And at the same time, he has so many things I don't. He has you too, even if he's the most twisted human being and he shouldn't keep breathing.â
Even if it sounded confusing, that made so much sense and resolved several unknowns that were hidden in the back of your mind.Â
You didn't know what answer could possibly be appropriate, though, so you decided to be fair and answer Chishiyaâs question too.
âI have no clue why I didn't kill you. I really don't. But I'm hoping to find the time to figure it out. Maybe when all this is over.â, you said, completely honest. âWhat I mean with this is that you better not die out there. You owe me that at least.â
âTechnically, I owe you nothing.â
âWould you just shut up, dickhead.â
You found Niragi sitting down against the wall. The ground covered by blankets to try to make it a bit comfier. That corner in the garage had become your bed for the last two days.Â
The first thing you did was kiss him. His lips were awfully chapped, but you didn't care in the slightest.
âHow was your game?â, you asked him, sitting down next to him.
âTiringâ, he admitted just before smiling cruelly. âI'm more dead than alive, but I still beat the shit out of those losers. I don't know how they made it so far.â
You laughed, even thought you hated when he talked of himself as if he was gonna die within the next hour.
âI came back from my game with a giftâ, you told him, taking out from your pocket the cream Chishiya gave you.Â
You couldn't help but ask yourself for how long would Chishiya have been carrying that around, and why would he even pick it up in the first place.
Niragi looked at it with an eyebrow raised. Well, he'd have done that if the fire hadn't erased his eyebrow completely.Â
âIt'll help you with the pain.â
Half an hour later, you had Niragi lying down with his head on your lap. You had removed his bandages and were applying a thin layer over his burns as carefully as possible.
âI found this guy in my game that reminded me of the old Niragiâ, you muttered.
That was how you referred to the version of Niragi you first met; back when he was still in high school. Too many things had change since then.
âThen I'm sure he ended up dead.â
âYea, he did. The game got under his skinâ, you said, a tiny, sad smile on your face. âAt least I tried.â
âOf course you didâ, Niragi chuckled. âYou've always been good with stray dogs.â
âYou know who else was in my game? Chishiya.â
Niragi's eyes, peacefully closed as he enjoyed the feeling of your hand in his scarred body, opened widely as soon as he heard that name.
âIs he dead?â, he asked you. âDid you kill him?â
âNo, I didn't. He's still aliveâ, you answered. Both disappointment and excitement mixing in his gaze. âI couldnât have killed him. I know you want to do it yourself.â
Niragi's psychotic smile would have made a kid cry. Probably an adult too. However, the only thing you did was return the kiss when his lips crashed against yours as if he was aiming to devour you.
Maybe that was the only true reason why you didn't lie to Chishiya during the Jack of Hearts. Maybe there was something else, but this world was too sick and too dangerous to think about it thoroughly. Maybe you'd have a chance some day.Â
Or maybe the three of you would end up six feet underground the next time your paths crossed.
