The Phi and Alpha Alpha Chapters of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., cordially invites you to our Fifteenth Annual One Heartland Banquet taking place on Friday, December 1st, 2017 in Rosenthal Pavilion on the 10th Floor of the Kimmel Building from 7PM - 11PM. Our theme for this year is, "Venceremos Con Amistad," which in English translates to, "In friendship, we will overcome." We invite you to join us in solidarity as we illuminate hope onto those who, through their fight against adversity, are disillusioned by obstacles they may encounter such as social isolation and judgement from their peers. The night will consist of good music, amazing performances, inspirational guest speakers, delicious food, and exciting raffles! All proceeds go directly to our national philanthropy, Camp One Heartland. What is Camp One Heartland? It is a national nonprofit that serves as a safe haven for children and families who have been affected/infected by HIV/AIDS as well as other illnesses. It is composed of bonding and team building activities which help build confidence, self-pride, and other resilient characteristics that will help children when dealing with their illness. It also provides families with resources that will help them overcome adversity such as counseling and workshops.
