The perfect ecosystem

I can feel the bugs crawl

Tingling sensations on my skin

Tears start to fall

I could bash it with a rock

Or rot in my disgust

I let it walk

As it lays its eggs

I become a self sustaining ecosystem

The bugs squirm their long legs

After awhile I start to accept my fate

There is no way of escaping

I guess it’s too late

I envy the people who got out

I didn’t want it to end this way

All I can do is freak out

Slowly the babies start to hatch

Their cries ring in my ears

I wish I could have a rematch

And I can’t calm all of the babies down

It’s too much to do

But it’s not something I can put down

The legs started to multiply

More sensations on my flesh

And I continue to cry.
