I use a lot of real life events as sources for my fictional universes, and sometimes I gotta take a second because a lot of them are tragedies that happened to real people. So I often get stuck reading accounts (if there are any) and I try to tell bits of their story in my own. It’s my way of giving them a voice, even if no one will read it, but I will.
