Work in progress of the biggest piece I think I’ve ever made
WIP of a new digital floral painting
And oil sketch on paper :) I painted this piece at the beginning of the pandemic, after a experiencing a devastating loss, and still see a lot of my grief in it. It feels like a very personal piece, and It has a special place in my heart.
A painting if my sweet rainbow child.
New painting 😊 I experimented with the possibilities provided by Procreate
Sunflower painting 😌 Sunflowers are symbolically significant to me. They remind me of sunshine and I have chosen them to be present in every major even in my life. They featured as the primary flower in my wedding bouquet, were going to be murals in my first child’s room due to the song “you are my sunshine”, which I sang to him while I was pregnant. And when I lost my first baby, I filled his funeral room with sunflowers. We planted them in our first home. I had them in the birthing room of my second baby. Sunflowers represent love to me, the sunshine that pulls me through this life.

Another hand study! 💜 I’ve done about 4 of these trying to nail down a skintone pallet that I’m happy with, and I think this one is my favorite.
I’ve been doing a lot of ha d sketches to nail down a skin tone pallet for a larger painting. This is one of them :)
I made this sketchbook painting with oils and recorded the process :) let me know if you like these videos and I’ll post more!
A new sketchbook painting :D
A work in progress :)
