TEXTSĀ š² SIARIAĀ šš§
SIENNA: I woke up thinking about the Cylon threat and how Adama is going to handle this tribunal shit.
SIENNA: What have you done to me?
text messages / rienna
REAGAN: Hey!
REAGAN: I wanted to talk to you, if that's cool?
SIENNA: Bring it on, Sunflower.
SIENNA: Lemme guess- is it about the flowers?
TEXTSĀ š² SINTER
HUNTER: I'm not trying to start anything, but it's very bold of you to come after my love life considering your own.
SIENNA: I'm sure this will be the stuff of comedy for you, but what love life?
SIENNA: I've made a point of keeping things casual across all lines.
SIENNA: Besides, I'm not coming for you. I'm just taking interest in your life. Isn't that what normal roommates are supposed to do? Not that you're anything close to normal.
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
REAGAN: Great. Just knock and come on in. Itāll be open.
REAGAN: Iāll definitely let you take care of dinner.
SIENNA: Will do. Good thing I still know your Chinese order.
SIENNA: Maybe I'll grab an extra bottle of wine too. I'm staying a minimum of five feet away from any drama but it looks like you could use it.
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
[...]
REAGAN: Do you want to come over tonight?
[...]
REAGAN: I have wine. And a comfortable couch.
REAGAN: I don't know why I'm telling you this but Matt broke up with me and I'm having weird nights lately and Harperās not home and for some reason I thought of you.
[A pause as she considers the possible ramifications of going over to Reagan's. All of these thoughts are dismissed with a shrug]
SIENNA: I'll be there at 7.
SIENNA: Should I bring some food? I'm still a mediocre cook so it'll probably be take out.
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
REAGAN: Smart woman for that 'outside of you part'.
REAGAN: I'm glad. You fit the couch surfing type better than I do, that's for sure.
REAGAN: It sure seems like it. Sometime's when I'm really angry, I punch my pillows. It doesn't really have the desired effect because it doesn't really fight back.
REAGAN: Drinks post boxing sounds perfect, Sienna. It's definitely not too much. I'm sure It'll make me feel a lot better.
REAGAN: Are you ready for the new school year?
SIENNA: Oh, I've learned by now. Besides I don't think you get much classier than Reagan Lane.
SIENNA: Yeah, classy girls don't shack up on couches for a year.
SIENNA: I'll get us signed up for a class then. Unless you want to push it back? There's a bar not far from the club that I'd love to share with you.
SIENNA: As ready as I can be. Prepared with my puberty talk.
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
REAGAN: Eliza, huh? She seems fancy.
REAGAN: So you were okay? And you had places to stay? Food to eat? I felt bad kicking you out. But you also deserved it.
REAGAN: It did, thank you.
[...]
REAGAN: I just might take you up on that. I'd definitely rather punch a punching bag, no more feelings of wanting to punch your face in. It's been a while. Boxing sounds fun!
REAGAN: Or, and hear me out, we can get drinks and stuff too!
REAGAN: You think so? Thank you. I needed that :) curse your and your weird ability to always know what to say!
SIENNA: Far from it, if I'm being honest. Outside of you my taste in women back then was not stellar.
SIENNA: I managed. Did some couch surfing for a while or picking up roommates from craigslist ads. I'm alive, aren't I? So you shouldn't feel bad.
SIENNA: My face appreciates it. I'd hate to do an early lesson with my students on how bruises form. As for boxing, it's incredible. Cleanses all of that negative energy built up inside of you.
SIENNA: Perhaps drinks post boxing? Or is that too much?
SIENNA: I'm glad that much hasn't changed.
TEXTSĀ š² SIARIAĀ šš§
ARI: Not old seasoned and tasty, remember? š
ARI: You're flourishing now! And not in your car, I'm glad about that. I'm pretty tight with my 'rents but I know "home" for some can be more stifling than for others. I had to get out on my own because I was going to be babied until my 60s if I wasn't. I'm glad you found your place. I like that it's here.
ARI: Oh then she can get a dose of my mean mean words. Because I want my videos.
ARI: I mean I guess I can deal with a beautiful, super cool lady making me sugary treats. It's a hardship but I'm tough I'll survive it.
ARI: Come OVER!
ARI: Oh sure! Don't judge me too harshly though it's in it's rough edit stage and I've got a couple more interviews to do, and I'm going to interview myself... weird I know. Im so vain. It's tough, even for a kid to be forced to give up something you love so deeply. But like the strength and grace they have is fracking beautiful.
SIENNA: You make me sound like an order of curly fries.
SIENNA: I spent a lot of time skirting this city but I can say I'm glad I've found my place here. It's starting to really feel like home.
SIENNA: I don't know anything about any videos but I'm happy to stay on your good side.
[a beat]
SIENNA: You poor thing. I'll make sure to go easy on you.
SIENNA: I've got everything packed up and am on my way.
SIENNA: Not to completely ignore your point but you still need to fill me in on this whole frack thing. Every time you say it I feel even more uncool.
I never realized how much I would truly appreciate the weekends until I became a full time working girl! I feel like a real adult now, itās so crazy. How is everyone spending their weekend? Would you like company?
Itās a hell of a rush, isnāt it? Iāve been spoiled being a teacher. I donāt think I could give up my weekends or summers. As for my weekend, I went on Reaganās camping trip. Hit all of the camping highlights- sāmores, hiking, swimming, and just relaxing in my tent. What did you end up doing?
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
REAGAN: I just kind of want to know a few things, I guess. If that's okay?
REAGAN: Did you see her again after I broke it off? Who was she? And what did you do after it all? Where'd you go?
REAGAN: It was kind of always in the back of my mind, the fact that we never got closure.
REAGAN: The problem is, I'm pretty sure her background with her family is the exact reason why she doesn't want kids or think she'd be a good mom. No matter how much she just claims she simply doesn't want to be one. She's got a rocky family history. I'm like 95 percent sure there's another reason she won't tell me. She's really guarded with her past.
REAGAN: Yeah. I'll talk to her when we get back to the city this week. And yeah, I know the worst case scenario. But I just don't think it's going to go well. And that's what scares me. The worst case scenario seems unbearable right now.
REAGAN: :) Thank you for that. I'm glad I'm not crazy. I know I'm not. Sometimes I just feel stupid for wanting something so much, you know?
REAGAN: Tomorrow morning I'll have to head out there! Do it in the sunrise, make it even MORE peaceful! If you wanna join me, or something.
[a few days later]
SIENNA: Yeah, of course.
SIENNA: Her name was Eliza and I met her in a bar one night when I was drowning my thoughts. I never saw her after that night that you broke things off. I didn't have any desire to because seeing her would be a reminder of what I caused myself to lose.
SIENNA: I went to the west coast first. Anywhere you go there's a need for substitute teachers and I took advantage of that. It allowed me to flit from place to place and avoid why I was making myself go nomadic.
SIENNA: I hope that answers your questions.
[...]
SIENNA: I know it's not ideal, but if you need anything after having this talk of yours, well, I'm around. I mean that sincerely. I won't volunteer to be your punching bag but I would take you boxing.
SIENNA: And before I forget, wanting a family is probably one of the least stupid things I can think of. It's practically hardwired in us.
serenasmythemd replied to your photo āā³ INSTAGRAM: @SIMPLYSIENNA UPLOADED A NEW PHOTO Would you believe me...ā

Maybe itās not your element, Serena, but itās definitely mine.Ā
TEXTSĀ š² SIARIAĀ šš§
ARI: When did you live in your car?!
ARI: That doesn't sound weird at all. It sounds nice actually. I don't know that I have a place where my mind goes completely quiet but my favorite part about sitting in a big practically empty movie theater is the rest of the world goes quiet and its just me and this world someone created. I think it sounds awesome that you have that.
ARI: I did a couple interviews with some friends who where athletes of some sort and for whatever reason now are living their lives without that, how they've found ways of coping.
ARI: Well I need her to not get eaten by a bear so I can yell at her for not wearing that body like she promised.
ARI: Nice! Sounds like you're letting any negativity roll off your back, which is a super dope quality to have. I love the beach. I bet you look all beautiful and serene it just isn't fair. OH Bring me back a s'more! I'm really excellent company btw, for when you're back in the concrete jungle.
ARI: SciFi under the stars sounds like one of the coolest things anyone's ever said and it will definitely have me investing in special tires for Rhoda, because that's happening
SIENNA: It's been nearly a decade ago- shit that makes me sound old. I grew to love it, especially after leaving the restraints of my family home. I couldn't flourish there.
[...]
SIENNA: You'll be happy to know then that the last time I saw her she was in one piece, safely on her way home. But you probably knew that already.
SIENNA: Annnnnd
SIENNA: Now that I'm back I would love to bring over my extra s'mores makings and show you how a proper s'more is cooked in the wilderness of the modern kitchen.
SIENNA: Maybe you could give your #1 fan a sneak peak of that bit you were working on too? I imagine your former athlete friends had some interesting things to say. I can't imagine giving up a passion like that.
text messagesĀ āļø rienna
REAGAN: I appreciate that. Amicable at least is a good place to start.
REAGAN: I've really missed you, you know? And while I'm glad we're having this conversation, it still kind of hurts, I guess. So we can take it slow? Maybe work up to a hug.
[...]
REAGAN: See, that's the problem. I know I'll be an amazing mom, and that's what makes me want it more. It's just that no one's ever really wanted it with me. Except you, I guess. No, they aren't. And I know if we talk about it it's not going to go well, and I'll just end up single and sad. Also, I don't know why she doesn't want kids. She'd be an amazing mom and she loves kids and she loves me and I know it's not that simple, but I wish it was.
REAGAN: I'm also considering freezing my eggs at this rate because not to be dramatic, but I'm getting reminded every day that I won't be able to have kids forever.
REAGAN: Thanks, Sienna. You're fine. It feels weirdly helpful to talk about it with someone who didn't freak out at the idea of being a mom with me. Like, it makes me feel like I'm not crazy.
REAGAN: I've been doing it a lot lately! I use an app most of the time, but I might just be turning into you.
REAGAN: I don't think I would've been the best either of those things at that young of an age, but It really was amazing to think about, wasn't it? I really thought I'd be married and with two nature loving kiddos by this age, to be honest.
[...]
REAGAN: I'm glad you're having a good time! I figured you'd be right in your element.
SIENNA: I can do slow.
SIENNA: For what it's worth I've missed you too.
[...]
SIENNA: Here's the thing. Maybe she doesn't know she'd make a good mom. Maybe she's never been challenged with that image. I won't pretend to know anything about her background but it's easy to miss something when you've never considered it.
SIENNA: Talk to her. Maybe she'll surprise you and if not? You already know the worst scenario. It's going to come up at some point and better to talk it out than end up resenting her because you're missing out on something that is key to your ability to achieve fulfillment.
SIENNA: You're not crazy, Sunflower. [UNSENT]
SIENNA: You're not crazy, Reagan.
SIENNA: Some kid is going to be beyond lucky to call you Mom one day. I mean that.
[...]
SIENNA: 100% in my element. I'd highly recommend taking those meditation skills to the beach. I was completely in the zone with the sand beneath my feet and the waves crashing in the background.
TEXTSĀ š² SIARIAĀ šš§
ARI: Really?!!!:O You have?
ARI: I totally figured that out actually. I just needed an excuse to text you is all. I've been writing and editing and reworking old edits all day and you're a good reason for a break.
ARI: So you think someone has a chance of getting eaten by a bear huh? Are you a betting woman?
ARI: Yup, it's a good thing you have service though, just incase leatherface finds you guys. Call for help.
ARI: Whoa, whoa. Half of SciFi stands for science so I figure half of the things I've seen could actually happen.
ARI: You didn't tell me if you're having a good time though. Did you make s'mores? Sing around a camp fire? Jump into a lake? All that camp-y stuff I see on TV
SIENNA: If living out of my car counts then it's been even longer. But yeah, I've always loved camping. It sounds weird but I feel like my mind can actually be quiet when I'm outdoors.
SIENNA: You certainly deserve a break. What's the big project today?
SIENNA: Nope, I'd lose it all if I did. Despite being the most likely to be eaten by a bear though sheer inexperience, Matt is scaring them all away with how loudly she's expressing her concerns about everything to do with the outdoors. It's a lot of negative energy.
SIENNA: Despite that though I'm having a great time. Laid out on the beach for a while, swam. S'mores are on the menu tonight. It doesn't get much better than that. I'm lacking good company though.
SIENNA: We need to get Rhoda ready for offroading. You could teach me all about sci-fi under the stars.
