Ive talked about them in a different post. But now I have proper references!!!

They all got here by being part of a organization funded by the poterian government to track down the traces of the Forgotten Island and what was lost. However this organization was dissolved a few years back because there was a point where information became too painful to retrieve and study. So all of their findings were put into a museum and certain members were compensated.

However, it wasnt dissolved before they found out about Wishcraft.

For non islanders learning it in such an ineffective way, its HARD. Siffrin makes it seem easy but to someone who didn’t grow up with it, especially after the island disappeared…..well….lets say theres a reason why body craft is mostly done in houses.

Wishcraft was wayyyy too dangerous. Its inconsistent, and its basically a monkeys paw when you fail to follow instructions that dont exist anymore.

But not everyone was willing to give up on researching the Island. Slowly, it went from testing minor rituals, to testing it on sadnesses, then each other, then minimal volunteers, then in exchange for food or shelter…then….

Finding people who don’t have anyone who knows where they are and will take a while to come looking.

Cosima and Enzo both came into this with ulterior motives, but everyone experienced a very slow decent as they slowly set aside their morals for the sake of their research. Realizing how each other has changed, but not themselves.

Susie looping like Siffrin would be such a sweet sweet angst, the paralels between then are so good too

both were super lonely before and wish to stay with their new friends and family forever

but while Siffrin has deep self steem issues and their problem is that their family don't want to stay with him

Susie wholeheartdly believes they will stay together forever, like she is so atached to everyone, it hurts when you see almost all of them aren't... well... real people, she is clinging to a fantasy

while Siffrin just needed to talk to them, Susie has outside factors interfering, like the prophecy, and it will probably tear everthing she grew to love from her hands again and again

the idea that instead Susie will have to learn to let go is so heartbreaking.... but i can also see she having a high chance of chosing to keep looping forever just to keep them

in case you haven't noticed, i'm not normal about this (^u^)

i meant to reblog with text but accidentally clicked "reblog now" oops but YES i WILL DEFINITELY GET AROUND TO THIS!!! AND I FEEL SIMILARLY in the meantime i have a work-in-progress au (that's in prophecies and endless futures/ipaef) that is ALSO deltarune x isat, though frankly it's less deltarune and more just isat with a loose connection but stillllll there's a vessel and i think it's still fun and cool but yeah stay tuned for the susie looping au, it IS COMING!!!

Not sure if you've seen it before, but Ralsei in ISaT who had been forced into Siffrin's position (and later, time loop situation) because "Siffrin" doesn't exist anymore in that ISaT timeline.

What are your thoughts on that?

Susie looping AU where the loops only break when she partakes in the Weird Route Swim could be an interesting idea

i think i'd make it much more like regular in stars and time where susie's loops are just because of her attachment to her friends and like in stars and time the loops will only break when she realizes that's unhealthy and also that her friends will stay with her

buuut the Weird Route Swim could lead to something analogous to the change god event? where she would meet.. someone, so interesting idea regardless, anon! thanks for telling me lol

Loop goes back to their original timeline post canon BUT they are still Loop. AND ALSO the King froze everything while they were gone. So now they gotta figure out how to fix that while also dealing with the traumatic events of isat still rattling around their head. AND THEN afterwards they'll have come clean to their family somehow.

Because I hate them /j
