The main reason why I want ableism conversations to….actually include physical disabilities is because it’s frustrating reading a post about ableism in relationships that boils down to “Well sometimes you just gotta work through your own problems.”

Like I get that, but ableism isn’t just discrimination towards those with mental illness. Some people are in fact really abusive to those with disabilities because of their physical ailments/limitations, and centering ableism conversations around mental health is starting to overshadow that.
