//One of the last things I’m puzzling over for the blog move is if I should nix Rocin having a bad cigarette lung later in life. Maybe the non-canon shot to the neck, too. It feels a little excessive in hindsight. He’s honestly messed up enough without it, and i have to wonder if the humans in OP can even get lung cancer. I mean, I’m sure they can, but they’re basically super humans by default.

I do adore him having a damaged throat post-death, and that gnarly scar, even if I’ve not mastered drawing it. He does have selective mutism, and him being fully mute after death and rebirth could be attributed to him loosing his voice again from the trauma and emotional toll, similar to when it was a child saved by Sengoku. Hmn..
