My illustrated fan poster for Before Sunrise (1995)
My illustration of Luv from Blade Runner 2049
The Boy and The Heron / How Do You Live fanart poster I illustrated. I always preferred the latter title which is why I've used the Japanese type for it. Who else loves this movie?
Drew this for Transistor's 10th anniversary. Had to speedrun it because I was super busy leading up to the date.
Blade Runner 2049 fan poster illustrated by me, depicting the Sea Wall scene.
Illustrated this little fanart / poster for Pixar's Elemental. I really liked the movie!
Fanmade poster I illustrated for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. Still not over that movie.
this movie was about a scientist guy and his funny robot daughter right?
HOLY SHIT AN ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL COMIC STRIP?
With character interaction? And humour?
Impossible!
Yeah sorry, but it’s been 4 years and it feels like 95% of fan arts are just Alita, big chunk of it for male gaze, and now with that AI technology it really got tiresome.
To see fan art of other characters or them interacting, something trying to explore that world, is VERY rare.
so, thank you
I really agree with this sentiment! I wish Alita and Gunnm got the great fandom content many other series often receive, where fans create fanart of all the different characters, drawing comedic interactions, and just exploring the world a bit more artistically.
Unfortunately it seems like the most we get are sprinkles of fanart here and there of Alita, and with the intent of banking on the idea of "hot cyborg girl" for mass appeal. This post reminded me of back when I was a big Battle Angel Alita fan. Here are some really old fanarts I did back then, unfortunately they never gained much popularity since they're of lesser known characters in the universe and based on the manga later on in the series. And yeah people ogling over the terrible AI art of Alita just goes to show how starved this fandom is.
My original character "Ada". I updated her design, illustrated her and made this poster.
My illustration and poster design of Akira as played by Rina Sawayama in John Wick 4. Who else thought she killed it? 👹
My illustration of Awakened Garou from the OPM Webcomic.
My illustration of Denji Kudou from Abara by Tsutomu Nihei.
I illustrated this piece based off of one of my favorite songs, Fade Into You by Mazzy Star. I tried to capture the atmosphere, emotions, and ethereal nature of the song.
Transistor graphic design I made some time ago.
A fanmade movie poster for The Menu (2022) I designed and illustrated.
Morpheus, the king of dreams. Illustration by me.
