"We know it would be foolish to pretend we are loved by all, even though, we, in the field of physical culture photography, have a rather high opinion of the value and importance of our work.
Recording beauty as we see it, does indeed seem a worthy objective, but we recognize that what we find beautiful, a scantily clad youth with a smile and a twinkle in his eye, may appear banal or even ugly to others.
To those who do not like physical culture books, we offer this suggestion: forget them and leave them alone.
Let's all show a tolerance for ideas we can't understand. Live and let live, and we'll all get along a little better. " - Bob Mizer
