Nervous blue eyes looked up at the stranger from behind locks of white hair, a patched up stuffed rabbit clutched to her chest. "Wh...What you doing?" She asked in a small shy voice. (( lil-kissy have a smol))
Silly was glad Adrian had an early bed time. It meant she could have time to herself to think while he remained safely tucked away in peaceful dreams. She was sitting atop the slide at an empty park, in simple T-shirt and jeans. Her silver wings seemed shine in the darkness as she stared into space. Her feet were bare although one didn’t match the other. The hanging leg seemed to end in a bear’s foot?
Strangeness aside she sensed the tiny presence approaching long before she spoke. “Brooding.” She replied before bring her gaze from the distance to the child. “What brings you out here all alone little one?”
Silly wasn’t so ignorant as to think an Orphanage was a home. Sure some might be nice with people who actually cared about their work and the children there. But most were just a pit stop in the system, a flawed system. For one like Kisara, who might be special in ways most humans would never even believe, it was clearly hard. Of course fate would deem it necessary that she and the Kaiba brothers would have that in common.
“I see. I understand now little one.” She glanced up at the quickly darkening sky. Still kneeling she slowly opened her arms and wings to Kisara. “How about you come on a sleepover at my house. It’s just me, my husband and our baby boy most of the time. And some… pets I suppose you could call them. But it’s nice and sheltered from the elements unlike here. We can rest and decide what to do about your not home in the morning.”
“….But they’ll be mad if I don’t go back,” She didn’t want to go back to the house but she once they discovered she’d run off they were sure to be upset with her and she really didn’t want to cause any more trouble for them, after all they’d been kind enough to take her when no one else would.
Silly hummed. That was a good point. No doubt the mortal authorities would be alerted as well. No reason to add another case to their load though she couldn’t help part of her being irked. As an anon and a Queen, she was used to getting her way to some extent. Despite her humble demeanor there was always a piece that loved instant gratification and loathed denial. Spoiled by power was what she was.
In any case the child was clearly worried so perhaps she’d have to go about this the more normal route. “Well what if I come with you little one? You can introduce me as your new friend and maybe we can even arrange a playdate sometime. I’m sure my little one would love to meet someone a bit closer to his age.” Though an infant, he was quite smart for his age and being in the company of another child that was positive might do them both so good.
Then again would they really care if she left? It had sounded like they were considering getting rid of her anyway. “I don’t know.” Kisara squished the rabbit yo her chest. She wasn’t sure how they’d react if she turned up with a stranger, they may not mind but what if they did get mad she’d hate to be the cause of a fight. “…I don’t think they like me.” She mumbled.
“Hmmm...” This was a conundrum definitely. She supposed it could ruffle the parents feathers if Kisara was brought home by a stranger. If the young one was uncomfortable maybe she’d introduce herself at a better time. “Well I like you. I think we could be friends. But if you are unsure it’s time for me to meet your parents, I could just make sure you make it to your house safely. Then leave before they see me. It’s getting dark or otherwise I’d suggest we could play a bit longer first. But it’s up to you small one. As a new friend I want to ensure your comfort and well-being.”
The fae prince fluttered and settled himself in a tree, lounging. “Wonder what I can do tonight…”
“It’s true.” A winged, hawk headed figure said from the base of the tree. “Fae people are small.”
“Excuse you, strange thing. I am not that small.” He raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms and wings rustling.
“I’m only strange if there is a normal. There is no normal. Besides this is a distinguished form fit for battle. Besides...If you are not small, then how tall are you?” The warrior folded her arms as well and met his gaze evenly.
The fae prince fluttered and settled himself in a tree, lounging. “Wonder what I can do tonight…”
“It’s true.” A winged, hawk headed figure said from the base of the tree. “Fae people are small.”
A dark void, that was all that could be seen. Was it a dream? Hallucination? There was no way to tell at the moment. For brief moments, a figure could be seen faintly in this dark abyss, almost phasing in and out of existence. Its body was as black as the void around it, save for a few bits of light on what would presumably be its face. A clawed hand reached out, the palm had a triangle on it, one that was faintly glowing for a moment but it's light quickly faded. "Liiiiiiiiiiiight..."
Well this was new. Silly Adrissia had dreams, even before she’d remembered herself. But in the six years of her existence here she’d had few that could revival this level of… vividness? Or perhaps with the calm her mind had gone soft and the sudden stress was too much for it to handle and so she’d finally gone truly mad.
In either case she’d face this challenge head on. When she’d called out a challenge to the other anons and people harassing her loved ones she MEANT it. She did not like having all this magic, this power and unable to do anything for them. It was a thorn in her side, a constant itch she couldn’t quite reach that left her soul pacing back and forth like an angry bull. Now here was her chance, with this strange figure in this darkened void. Either it was some lost soul seeking assistance, or a prisoner masquerading as a victim to garner her assistance. Dark and Light no longer had the same evil and good connotations for her as it did others. As a greyface she was twilight herself, the indistinguishable smear as night faded to day or day into night. So instead she’d experiment with the figure’s request. Her body was prepared to spring away at the first sign of violence as she reached inside of herself that one speck of light. Given as a gift long ago
The gifted light magic filled her being, igniting her own muted light to fill this void. Her wings spread and glittered with frost that caught the light and threw it back as the brilliant colors of the rainbow. To her it was not as bright as the morning sun but here in this dream or hallucination’s abyss, it seemed to be a new dawn. With wary eyes she looked upon the figure for it’s reaction.
As the two sources of light came closer to them, the creature began to rise a little higher into the air. “Sun…and Moon…” At this point the two lights were close enough that one could see that they weren’t just bits of light, they were two other creatures. One looked very much like a lion, the other looked like a bat. Both of them approached the creature, slowing down and stopping right before it and Silly. “Sun…” The creature looked over at the lion, who gave out a mighty roar, an intense, orange light enveloping it, and a strange third eye appeared on its forehead. “Moon…” it now looked at the bat, who in similar fashion, let out a cry, a brilliant blue light appearing around it, its wings having the appearance of a beautiful night sky, as a third eye also appeared on its forehead.
These two lights began to shine brighter, their light reaching and started to engulf the black creature, who was soaking up every bit of light they were giving. And then, everything went white for a split second. As the light cleared, the lion and bat were gone. The black creature…was no longer whole. The pieces of black that made up its body were disconnected and seemed to just be randomly floating in the air. The prism that made up its face however…the bits of colored light, it was moving around, eventually escaping out of the body. While small, this prism was now filled with an astonishing amount of light, so much that it looked like it was going to burst any moment. Suddenly, several golden rays spewed out from the prism and connected to the bits of its black body, turning them into gold. The light, along with the golden pieces, began to form a shape, a torso, a long tail, and two sets of wings. One of the black pieces that used to make up the black creature’s torso was now part of the creature’s face, with two eye holes, one was mostly blue, the other was red.
What now floated in front of Silly was none other than a dragon. A dragon made entirely out of light. “Li… Liiiii… Liiiiiiiiight!!” The dark void was now filled with the purest of light showing where they were. A tower…in some unknown location. Was this where the creature was made prisoner?
She needed sunglasses for this. Her eyes winced and the brightness of the lights and she moved a wing to shad her eyes so she could properly see this sun and moon. Which turned out as part of her had guess, not the actual celestial bodies but symbolic beings. One was a lion, who let out a mighty roar and Adrissia could feel warmth of the sun emanating from it. The beast reminded her of her mother, who had become the sun itself for a time.
The other creature, a bat it seemed, had wings that seemed to form the perfect shape of the full moon. She could feel it’s soft cool light, turning the night into a silver dream. She herself felt more attracted to the moon but it hardly matter as both it and the lion began to become engulfed in their own light. So much so it forced her eyes closed. It wasn’t until the red flash against her eyelids dimmed that she slowly opened them again.
Only to find the lion and bat gone. When she turned back to the prism being it had.... broken? No... The pieces were all whole and a large prism lay at it’s center from which light was spreading. She watched as the light illuminated the once black pieces to gold and become a distinct shape. A shape she herself had taken the form of a many times. A dragon. One with four wings, prismatic eyes and made entirely of light instead of flesh. It cried out once more and the void around them became distinguishable. She snorted when she noticed it was a tower.
“Everyone’s always locking things in towers. Especially with dragons.” She looked up to the dragon that now towered over her. “But I like dragons and you got your light back. Tell me great dragon of light, what is your name that I might find you someday?”
“If I were any other man, I might have spouted off something about family bringing only weakness with it. It is a sentiment that many I have met have expressed. I do not fully disagree with it, but I also do not see those weaknesses as entirely negative. Allowing yourself to care for others… makes things more exciting in a way.”
Apophis waved a hand at her. “Ah, I speak too much. Will you reconsider sharing a meal with me, knowing what you do now?”
“In some cases I’ve found that weakness to garner massive strength. Especially among humans and the like. The desire to protect that which you care for can be forged into a powerful weapon against your enemies.” She finished with a sip of her drink.
She nodded. “I’ll consider it. Still no deals of any kind. Claim guest rules and all that. Think of it as a compliment to your cunning. Now as for the boys... I assume Lion is taking magic lessons from you?”

To her it was not as bright as the morning sun but here in this dream or hallucination’s abyss, it seemed to be a new dawn. With wary eyes she looked upon the figure for it’s reaction.
The creature made no reaction to her approach, being too weak to really move much. Upon catching a glimpse of the sudden bits of light that came off her, it slowly moved its head up. The creature’s ‘face’ was now slightly visible, the small bits of rainbow-colored light coming from the frost reflecting on it, small bits of different color suspended in a prism, the rest of it again being pitch black. Suddenly, a large amount of the light coming from her was absorbed into the creature’s prism-like body. The triangles on the palms now glowing more brightly. It made an effort to get itself up but couldn’t fully do so, a sort of painful sound coming from it from the failed attempt.
“Liiiiiiight… Need….more….liiiiight….” It didn’t sound angry at all or like it was demanding, more like it was in pain…suffering…
She’d never encountered something quite like this. The being before her looked like no Ka she’d ever seen nor poor soul that was trapped. In fact it didn’t feel like a person as it suddenly absorbed the light she was emitting. It seem to grow more coherent if only a little but clearly it was still suffering. Despite it’s strange proportions she couldn’t help but feel for it as it called for more light. She’d worry more about what it was later. Malevolent or not it was obviously in no position to do anything and in the process of getting it more ‘light’ she could do the proper research to find out exactly what it was.
“I’m sorry.” She told it. “I don’t have much light give.” That was more Sarah’s forte than her’s. “But I think I can get you somewhere you can get more light. Just… don’t try to take too much when we get there okay?” She’d met one civil Apep, she didn’t expect her luck to extend to all light absorbing beings. Besides whatever dream/hallucination this was it might not go on much longer.
She approached and as her wings grew large enough to encircle them both she carefully reached to take it’s hand…
“No…” it responded softly, barely audible if one wasn’t really paying attention. Using a bit of the new strength it was given, a psychic force pushed her wings back. Not in a menacing manner, but just enough to push them away gently. “No…” it muttered again, “Trapped… Darkness…took…my light…” As it spoke those few words, two distant sources of light appeared from behind Silly. Seeing them, the creature looked up again, gazing at them as they drew closer. “Sun…and Moon…” The triangles were now shining brilliantly.
When she felt the being push back gently in some manner she stopped and took a step back. She didn’t want to aggravate it’s injuries further. “You can’t leave.” She replied So it was that kind of nonsense. There were conditions to it’s imprisonment. “The Sun and Moon?” He needed the light or... some symbolic light of the Sun and Moon? Silly Adrissia sensed the presence behind her as it spoke and slowly turned to face the growing light.

Wanderings of a Broken King
sillyanontheguardian:
She was filled with apprehension as she waited a response from him. Would he remember her, was he real? Was this a trap?
But when he came forward and embraced her, all doubt was erased. She knew that voice and the physical contact enabled her magic to confirm 100% that this was no copy or fake. “You’re real! And you’re here! Thank Alysandra you’re okay. I thought you had disappeared like the others.” She returned the hug two-fold with arms and wings. Even her greyface magic was pleased; playing about her form like grey and purple shadows.
“I would be most pleased to walk with you. There is so much to catch up on and perhaps I might talk you back to sleep.”
“Of course I’m real.” Why did people always seem to think otherwise? Was there some strange ghost version on himself running about confusing people? He shook his head. “I was on a bit of an adventure, but I’ve returned now. No need to worry.”
Adventure was a bit of a stretch, but it was clear he had already worried Silly, he refused to push that any further. Atem smiled widely as the wings encircled him. “But it is truly good to see you.”
He pulled away but only to begin walking once more. “I highly doubt that, my dear. Your company is far too cherished to sleep through.” Perhaps if they were back at his flat, but there was no way walking the streets.
“People disappear and sometimes they come back the same or with their memory lost. Others don’t come back at all.” She’d watched many people go, from Seventh and Grim’s entourage, to a quiet spoken Ryou with a son she’d taken a liking too. She even remembered Sennen’s disappearance. Thus she’d come to expect the worst. “I’m glad it was just a bit of adventure. I thought maybe the multiverse had eaten you. Or the best outcome, your world just became stable again you couldn’t jump back here.”
She released him from the hug and fell in step beside him. As they got closer to busy streets her form seemed to shift so she blended in with the more ‘normal’ crowd. “Hmm... he plays compliments in attack mode.” She gave him a teasing grin. “So tell me friend, how goes your world? You’ve been dueling bad guys into submission again?”

“The palace of Eclio in the land of Indelatra. At least the Oververse version of it.” He smiled kindly before replacing the mask. “Just a moment. I’ll get you some water.” He moved over to a nearby sink, allowing Yugi to see the more of the large infirmary he was in. The ceiling was high and along two walls windows would allow light to flow in. Although now it seemed the darkness of night had settled and the only illumination were lamps along the walls at nightstands.
“My wife Adrissia brought you here.” Shurit continued, as he filled up a glass and returned to Yugi’s side. “You would know her as Silly I presume. She’s with our son at the moment settling him in. But I’m sure she’ll be back…”
“Right now.” A woman’s voice called out sternly, accompanied by flapping wings. “Shurit you were supposed to notify me when he awoke.” A rather harried looking Silly with her hair tied back rushed to Yugi’s other side.
“And so I did. It has only a been a few moments dear.” Yugi’s mask was lowered again as Shurit prepared to help him drink. Silly just glared, but there was a softness to it that signified she was grateful for her husband’s help. She refocused her attention on Yugi and instantly her face was full of concern. “I’m so glad you are awake nice friend Yugi. I was terribly worried and I admit I know little of your fae side that I was uncertain how best to heal you.” She gently reached to feel his forehead. “How do you feel?”
The palace of Eclio….He wasn’t sure he recalled that name but he thought it sounded familiar. His brain was still sluggish, eyes only so focused as he listened and looked around blearily. He felt weak and he hated it, but oh how sleep sounded so good right now. No, he had to stay awake, he couldn’t go back to that black ocean that tried to swallow him whole.
But he looked up at Silly’s name. That was a name he knew and he let out a big sigh of relief. While it seemed this man was helping him, he was glad to know it was indeed someone he knew who had found him. Last he remembered he was walking home from getting groceries.
Silly’s voice made him turn, search for her and he smiled softly, tiredly, when she came to his side. “It’s okay, I don’t even know much of my fae side.” He admitted and reached out to pat her hand before drinking some of the water. Each breath he took made him feel a little better, breathe a little easier, his fever broken after waking.
“I don’t…even know what happened.” He said.
Silly sighed in relief at his cool forehead. Though he was clearly weak, the fact that he was talking and awake at all set her mind at ease. Hopefully he had made it through the worst of this illness whatever it was. She squeezed his hand back gently.
“I was doing my.... rounds so to speak. Checking on the goings on and how everyone is doing you know. That’s when I found you unconscious on the ground in the street. There was stuff scattered all around you so I assume you must have been shopping. Mostly I was concerned about you and any attackers that might have been nearby. But you were alone and all that was out of place was small cloth and a pile of ash. It... smelled like some kind of incense. But distasteful I could tell. I figured it was some kind of biological or chemical attack so I brought you to my home or... old home I suppose. Being a land of the dead ruled by Queens makes it for a fical thing but safe. I mean there is only one way most get here and again between me and my relatives any intruders would be... hard pressed to make it within a 100 yards of you. We got you settled and waited for you to wake up. I tried to do some research but I was... not in the right mind for it.”
“It also appeared your sleep was beset by troubled dreams. But I am unsure how someone could attack your mind in realm so removed from the mortal plain.” Shurit had moved to stand beside his wife, so Yugi only had to focus on one side of his cot. Silly looked perplexed at him but she stopped herself from questioning Yugi just yet. Best let him process what they had just said before adding more to his undoubtedly weary mind.
