A year has passed; she’s become my best friend and closest ally.  My muse and my escape from the places I have been.

Haven’t posted in a while.  After my trip to the DRC, I spent months trying to get the photos published to no avail.  Editors were interested, but nothing ever seemed to come through.  I’m passionate about my work, and passionate about these photos being seen.  Refugees go without aid as continued violence forces more and more from their homes.  These voices need to be heard.

Been a while since i’ve updated.  I’m still planning on going to the DRC but the visa has been greatly delayed and I’ve suffered from panic attacks, quite suddenly and randomly.  So the trip has been put on hold.  In the meantime, portraits.
