My mom refuses to let my friends drive me anywhere yet asks why I don't go out to parties. She got mad that my friend gave me a ride down the street to the bus stop (like 3 blocks) because it was raining.

I hate when parents ask for their child to tell the truth when the child is in trouble. Like, "Ok Karen, I can either tell you the truth and say that Logan and I were hooking up in his car or I can say we were getting boba. Which would you prefer?"
