Secondly I was wondering if I could draw/use your human designs specifically for subject 1170 and 1172 for an animated short film project I'm doing for huggy wuggy? I’ve been asked for my headcanons on these two a couple of times so I’ve written some down. 1170 & 1172 are what I refer to the children as. Huggy and Kissy are the experiments. Some of these are based on the game and some of them are just me being a silly billy :)p
WARNING IT'S LONG
1172/Kissy has an intense fear of mice after some kids found a live one and dropped it down the back of her shirt when she was little
1172 was very extroverted. Drawing was her favorite, but she loved doing everything– dancing and singing and playing dolls and talking to others… Her personality basically flipped when she was turned into an experiment (which the scientists were NOT happy about)
After Kissy learned Giblet could understand Chum, she tried communicating with him, but to no avail
1172/Kissy gets along with everyone, but doesn’t actually have that many close friends
1172 was always a picky eater. Vegetables, meats, dairy products, even some fruits and candy– she almost threw up when the counselors put cranberry jelly on her plate during thanksgiving
Kissy rarely eats, and does everything in her power to avoid consuming human flesh
1172 grew up in Playcare. She never knew her biological parents
1170’s favorite hobby is people watching. He’d sit on the steps of Home Sweet Home and watch other kids play. Not out of longing or jealousy or anything– just curiosity. Other kids thought he was weird and a little stalker-y for it
(This is also why Huggy didn’t mind being stationed in the lobby for a while. Watching visitors gave him something to do)
Huggy’s actually very observant of things/people, and is able to notice a lot of details that others would miss. This makes him a good hunter, but he’s unfortunately not intelligent enough to make use of what he learns otherwise
1170 was a polite and quiet kid on the surface who had a lot of repressed anger that may or may not have manifested when he was turned into an experiment
1170 was about to be adopted before he got turned into an experiment. He had a good relationship with his older foster brother
1170 and 1172 did not know each other personally
1172’s favorite toy is Huggy Wuggy, but she’s nowhere near the level of devotion as 1170 is to his favorite toy, Kissy Missy
1170 came to Playcare as a young boy, and the year Kissy Missy was released. He stole the tape containing Kissy Missy’s debut episode in the Playtime animated TV show and would sneak out after curfew to watch it in the common room over and over again
1170 has a beloved Kissy doll he keeps on him at all times. He’s pretty ashamed of it but could never bring himself to toss her out. He keeps her hidden from other people
1172’s favorite smiling critter is CraftyCorn. 1170 doesn’t really care for the Smiling Critters, but if he had to pick one, he would choose CatNap
He changes his mind after meeting the bigger body version
Gracie’s “the friends won’t like that” manipulation tactic changed to “Kissy Missy won’t like that” after Huggy was introduced to her for the first time. It worked amazingly
Huggy has frequent spats with Mommy Long Legs
Kissy once had a meltdown in private that neared Huggy levels of destruction. VERY few people know about it, and she’s very embarrassed about it
Huggy has heard himself being referred to as a rabid animal so many times that he pretty much believes it
I guess this is a Poppy headcanon, but she only trusts Kissy to carry her. Only when she has absolutely no other choice would she let herself be carried by someone else
In their first few weeks of knowing each other, Kissy would often mistake Poppy for a mouse. Her yelps would scare Poppy, who then also yelped. They’d giggle about it afterwards X)
1170 was a smart kid and a high performer in school, but his emotions would get the better of him and he’d lose focus very easily
1170 HATED being ordered around by adults and scientists. Huggy was THRILLED during the Hour of Joy. Huggy was PISSED when he started being ordered around by the Prototype
Huggy’s still a little embarrassed that he got hit by a car
Huggy and Kissy would write in order to communicate with each other whenever they were together. Huggy would eat the papers afterwards so specialists couldn’t read what they said, which always amused Kissy
Kissy tried learning sign language from Chum, but she could never remember all the different signs (and her stitched hands made it hard to communicate anyway)
Huggy understands Chum’s sign language. He just chooses to ignore him
The last interaction Kissy and Huggy had was before the toy war, where Kissy asked Huggy to join the rebellion. He couldn't really respond
