Our Girl, Ben, what the hell have you done to me?!
I am genuinely worried about some of my obsessions. My most recent obsession being with the fantastic show Our Girl, and predominantly with Mr. Unbefuckinglievably Perfect, aka Ben Aldridge.
I discovered that my love for this programme and for Ben has now become borderline unhealthy, due to the following reasons:-
1 - I now have more photo's of Ben stored on my phone than I do of anything else...and I have a LOT of photos. My phone lock screen wallpaper is of him, as is my Mac desktop wallpaper..
2 - If I see anything to do with Ben or with the show on the internet, I have to bookmark or favourite it immediately so I can always go back to it
3 - I spent the best part of two hours trawling through each episode of Our Girl, taking screenshots of Ben in almost EVERY scene he's in, of which there are many. I think there are now almost 600 screen captures saved on my Mac from this session...
4 - I think about Ben and Our Girl like, all the time. Literally, ALL THE TIME
5 - I am considering writing Our Girl fanfic, but have somehow resisted doing this so far
6 - I talk about the show with anyone and everyone who will listen, even if they don't watch it or haven't a clue what the hell it even is
7 - My entire google search history culminating over the last few weeks, centres around Our Girl and Ben Aldridge
8 - I have watched each episode of Our Girl several times each now, and have the DVD pre-ordered to arrive in November which means my viewing total for the whole series will rise stupidly over the next few months...
So yeah, I have definitely become a weird, super stalky, super fan...
