Had he zoned out? He must have, because he had no idea from where or when this person had shown up, but he was too TIRED to give it much thought ( which was o d d of him, because he questioned everything ). He smushed his face against the butt of his palm, lazily dragging his eyes over this stranger. 

People always said he zoned out a lot, by normal people standards, and Onna had said he was doing it more often ( oh, she should KNOW WHY, shouldn’t she? ) .

Her arms stretched―a soft POP―and she sighed with pleasant satisfaction that her work day was done. Reka straightened up her desk, marking down what she had finished for the day, and she gathered her things and headed out. She decided she’d walk home. It was a nice day, after all. 

The soft, warm breeze kissed her face as she walked down the sidewalk, and she couldn’t help the smile that lifted her lips. Suddenly, her phone buzzed.

❝ Hello? ❞ she answered, pressing the cell against her ear. ❝ Oh, Junior-kun? Yes, I’m on my way home. …Uh-huh…  You know, you could play with him once in awhile, maybe he’ll stop clinging onto your leg. Yeah, yea. Just― ❞

She ran into someone. ❝ Oof! ❞

Her blue eyes, at first, gazed i n c r e d u l o u s l y up at this STRANGE his hair in an array of upswept spikes of a soft, brownish-auburn. Her lashes then fluttered as she took him in. The curious light then fell from her eyes, as she pursed her plush, pink lips and allowed him to help her to her feet. Dusting her baby-blue skirt off, she looked back up at him cautiously.
