Obviously, I just had to do a build as well. There's nothing wrong with their original home. I think it's one of the better designed houses in base game, but I did want to try building this style of house and with this number of sims in the household.

I decided to take on a little makeover slash revamping project and I thought the BFFs would be the perfect first try. It's also my first attempt at doing these lookbook thingies. Obviously the lookbooks are meant to showoff the custom content other simmers make, but in my case, I tend to mix and match items in-game with custom content. So, these are my lookbooks for the trio!
I like color-coding my sims so I just took whichever defining color they had in their default design.
Travis Scott is our red boi. He looks kinda like tom holland, if I'm being honest but that's because of the eyes. the eyes are custom content so he looks real good. I didn't spend a lot of time on him. I, surprisingly, find it easier to speed through dressing up male sims because of how minimalistic men's fashion are and it's not necessarily a bad thing. Because of how categorical men's fashion is, it's also easy to know what to look for when dressing them up. Travis should give off basic white boi vibe, and that's okay!
Liberty Lee gets purple and yellow, mostly purple, tho, which I think is a really mystical color palette and suits how out of the three of them, she probably has the most defining trait. Travis and Summer are pretty straight to the point, and one could argue Liberty is as well, but I kinda revamped her as well and I played her as this Luna Lovegood type of character who surprises you with her hidden depths.
Summer Holiday is your typical cheerleader, popular girl trope but I gave it my own twist and instead of being this Regina George character, I wanted her to be someone who, yes, is a cheerleader and popular, but she's really just friendly and comes from old money, hence the more toned down, but still fancy looks.
I also headcanon that she gets along well with Liberty despite what the game wants for them and even gives Liberty some fashion advice, and Liberty has also grown comfortable in telling Summer about her troubles as a fellow young lady. They both DO love Travis, but I reeeeally wanted to develop it into a more platonic bond.

I want to discuss a few extra details. Let's start with your favourite Vines. There are five pieces with different shapes. The vines have seven colour swatches, creating a gradient from very green to red tips when placed next. It looks lovely as a Wall with colour variation in your Vines. You should try it :)
For the first time, I created functional friezes and foot trims; I don't think I can ever go back. They are so easy to use and speed up building a lot. However, I added a few extra pieces to create proper pediments for your estates, something I have always wanted.
I have been separating my windows from their frames, giving more options and colour combinations. This month, I created a separate Palladian window frame. You place two of the small windows next to the arched window, you place the Stone Frame on top, and voila, you have a Venetian Window :D.
Most of the Stone pieces have aged colour swatches. Whether you prefer a freshly renovated look or more Patina, the choice is yours :)
Generally, to make things easy and to give you more freedom while building, I like to use bb.moveobjects and ctrl + F5 for quarter tile placement. There are a lot of details, and sometimes, they go on top of each other.

Fresh and Renewed! This is the spiritual successor of my original Chronos Skinblend, which I made almost two years ago. I still love the old one, but I was craving something new with the same vibe but fewer harsh details and wrinkles, making it more layering-friendly.
It's pretty much the same concept as the old one: giving your Sims a natural and gradual feeling of aging, suitable for everyone, from cute infants to very wrinkly elders. Hello, everyone! Another week, another build and this time, I decided to build a micro home!
This build is inspired by she sheds. They're these coquettish, dollhouse-esque renovated shed houses and I wanted to make them in the sims. I've never built tiny tiiiiny houses before so this was for sure a challenge and took me a lot of researching to figure out. I like how there are benefits to living in a tiny house.
This build uses a few CC's but they're insignificant to gameplay. Downloading this build through the gallery (custom content enabled) will be fine if you'd like to use it. The CCs are replaceable with any items you have.

I recently downloaded an empty world save file and thought I'd start building my own world! I always build with solo sims in mind so this time, I thought I'd do a starter for a couple! 😊😊
The house is at 18,379 Simoleons, and it's base game only! It is however, furnished with my own two sims in mind so this place would fit really well if you're planning to play a sim with a chef/gardener aspiration. Otherwise, you'll have to buy your own skill items. Considering I was on a starter budget, I didn't go too crazy with the clutter and decorations. I was making sure to stretch out my funds in the best way possible, gameplay wise. So, the house is well lit, organized and has all the basic things your sim will need for a starter gameplay.
A little side note, I didn't add in a microwave, btw. I rarely ever make use of it in my gameplays. I just think a stove would benefit my chef aspiration sim more than a microwave 😭😭 also, idk why but it totally escaped my mind to add in a mailbox 🥹 and the first time I loaded into this house, a mailbox just randomly spawned right in the middle of the entryway 🤣🤣

This is my reimagined Darkwing House. A cottage dormitory that emits a homey, cozy vibe for the creative individuals that attend UBrite. It has a variety of skill items, study areas and a fully fleshed out kitchen! There's a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs so the sims can tend to their needs wherever they are.
I'm in college, so I know this is far too fancy for an actual university dorm, but it's all just fantasy and this is what I would think a "home away from home" dorm would look like. Realistically speaking, the rent would be criminally expensive but well, it's the sims!
Anyway, I'll probably revisit this and change the exterior but this worked as it is so, hm, not too bothered atm.
