California Plants

Almond trees retextured from cherry trees was it? These are not without their variety of issues as they were my first and only attempt at creating a tree retexture. Perfect for California orchards and possibly could be passed for olive trees? I’ve also included a texture override of the Red Sage plant that makes lovely dried grass for arid facilities.

I’m feeling sentimental tonight so special thanks to @sailleur for guiding me through the retexture process years ago. Thank you for the years of friendship and listening to me complain endlessly about just about everything you could possibly think of c:

🌼 Default Replacement Wildflowers 🌼

to celebrate my one year anniversary of this blog, a small gift! this is something i’ve wanted for ages - a default replacement of the wildflowers (without the weird red vase, what was ea thinking??) i ended up changing some of the flower types to something that i thought was prettier! the text changes are currently only in ENGLISH, but if you would like to translate this mod, send me a message! (i would have loved to add other types of wildflower like larkspur or yarrow, but all of them share the same mesh so i had to keep it simple)

Hanging Planter Conversion

I converted Yumesims’ TS4 conversion to TS3 for myself a week ago or so, and when I was ready to upload, I found out that Milla had already converted them before :(

My version however, fixes the problem with the original mesh where the dirt layer clips through the pot itself, and is recolorable with three channels (pot, rope,and beads)

It has 8 presets spanning the original 8 pot designs, excluding simple recolors.

However, I only converted the Large version of the planter as I figured resizing OMSPs could do the job if I needed smaller ones. Milla’s version (link above) has the smaller meshes as separate items if you need them.
