Around the Sims 3 | Nail salon clutter

On request, but also on my own wish list for a long time because I have a Sim 3 who DREAMS to have a nail salon; I made the hair dresser set for her because Sims 3 can't (yet?) have a nail salon, but that's her real goal life… Anyway… here's all the needed clutter for a nail salon, furniture will follow in the next update! (by the way, I remind that Sims 3 modders can use my meshes for their mods; it's always better if my meshes can still be required/needed, but it's OK if not. Not even needed to ask (I can be long to FIND your message), but please, message me when you upload so I ca download! ;D Soooooooo, if anyone wants to use my objects, and the coming ones, for a manucure salon, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO!!! Ingrid and I will be forever grateful for that!)

S3SS 1.6.2 - Century of humiliation edition

Updates / New patches

Fixed an incredible "bug" w/ Direct3D9, S3SS should now no longer use 200mb~ randomly… This took me ohh... several days to track down.

Updated dependencies, mimalloc being a notable one

New/merged Lot Streaming Optimization patch and new object throttling patch which is really cool and good and you should enable them all

Add aligned-alloc family support to mimalloc just in case

A big 4k LoC (I am mentally unwell) update to S3MM is also coming soon-ish, with the imgui API coming shortly after. It'll come with a very janky mod conflict viewer that I plan to improve upon sometime in the future (very WIP atm like the rest of the side-features!). Once the imgui API drops I'll then probably move it out of beta and start releasing the patches I've written using it.

A month ago, I showed an early version of a modular lighting system inspired by Project Rene.

Since then, the idea has evolved into something much bigger.

Instead of simply creating more lamps, I've been designing a system that allows the same collection of parts to generate completely different creations. Table lamps, floor lamps, wall lamps, modern designs, classic designs, minimalist pieces, extravagant pieces... all built from the same modular set.

The biggest inspiration ended up coming from Spore.

Not because of the number of parts, but because of the philosophy behind them. The goal is too individuality.

I want players to combine components in ways I never anticipated, creating lamps that feel uniquely theirs rather than selecting from a fixed catalog of objects.

For The Sims 3, that means turning decorative objects into creative tools. Seeing the combinations emerge has been one of the most exciting parts of the project so far.
